Biography
Edward Paskey received a B.A. degree in International Politics, with honors, Phi Beta Kappa, from The Pennsylvania State University. He holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University. He is admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the Bar of the Supreme Court of Minnesota, the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Supreme Court. His practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, state criminal defense (state and federal, and DUI), and real estate.
Ed is a member of the Pennsylvania and York County Bar Associations, the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Herbert B. Cohen American Inn of Court. He previously served as chair of the Criminal Law Practice Committee of the York County Bar Association. He also served as the First Deputy District Attorney for the York County District Attorney’s Office. As well as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Minnesota.
Ed serves as Solicitor for the York County Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #73, Hanover Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #69 and the White Rose (York City) Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #15. He is past president of the Penn State Alumni Association – York County Chapter.
He is an active member of the Penn State Alumni Association, the Nittany Lion Club, York Suburban All Sports Boosters Club and St. Joseph Church.
Ed resides in Springettsbury Township with his wife and two sons

Twelve years ago I was Mirandized as part of the investigation of an in-custody death which occurred during my service with the York City Police. Attorney Paskey provided excellent coaching in preparation for the investigator's interview and was literally at my side through the entire process.
