William Shreve did an amazing job helping me get out of a sticky insurance lapse situation. After not understanding that pleading guilty and paying a fee, my license would be revoked for 3 months, I contacted William. William was very understanding and helped me feel comfortable sharing everything w...ith him without judgement. He was completely professional and also friendly. William worked quickly and diligently with the police and DA to get the charges dropped and a refund on my guilty plea. William made what was a difficult experience easy by taking care of everything for me. He kept in constant contact, answered all my questions, and helped me so much. I hired Mr. Shreve for a custody case because his profile at that time which was 5 months ago was all about custody and family law. It’s interesting that now it is marked as only 10% custody / family law. I gave Mr. Shreve $6,290.00 for what he called a trial fee which we did not go to trial because ...I fired him 1 month later. As my attorney Mr. Shreve filed 1 petition and attended 1 hearing that lasted 1 hour. He met with me 2 times in his office only to really collect his money. He had one conference call on the phone for 1 hour. He answered emails with one or two words. I fired him about 1 month after I gave him the $6,290 because I knew that I didn’t stand a chance in court with him as my attorney. Although I requested a copy of my fee agreement and an itemized bill he continued to refuse to send me anything to show exactly what he did on my case or what he billed for. In fact when I pressed him on it he was rude, sarcastic and disrespectful. So I added up everything that I believe he did on my case including his travel time to and from the Courthouse to the hearing and it appears that Mr. Shreve charged me approximately $698.88 per hour. He refused to refund me any part of my retainer. Do yourself a favor and save your money and time and find an attorney with Integrity and heart who will fight for you instead of just take advantage of an already heartbreaking situation.

I was introduced by an online referring service to use Mr. William Shreve as my attorney to handle my divorce . He did a terrible job for me so far. I have to beg him to move every step forward. He does not spend much time with me, but he charges me thousands of dollars for phone calls which did n...ot take place. When I asked him to show me the proof of these phone calls, he was very mad and threaten me to put my case on halt. By the end, he could never find any proof to show me that these bogus phone calls really took place. I will never use his service again.
