Mr Spreha is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States Middle District and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Cumberland County Bar Association and the Dauphin County Bar Association, where he has served on the Board of Directors and as the past-Chair of the Young Lawyers Division. Â He is currently the Vice-President for the Dauphin County Bar Association.
He is a former Deputy District Attorney with the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office where he served from 1997-2002 and headed that office’s DUI/ARD program.
Mr. Spreha, is active with the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (PaCDL) where he serves on their Board of Directors. He is a frequent lecturer for PaCDL speaking at their annual conference on Motor Vehicle Updates as well as planning bi-annual, full-day Motor Vehicle Seminars that have been presented in State College, Hershey and King of Prussia.
His knowledge of Motor Vehicle Law and Driving Under the Influence Law has resulted in his appointment as an instructor to provide continuing legal education to the Pennsylvania Minor Judiciary Education Board. This agency provides legal updates to the 600+ District Judges in Pennsylvania. Multiple times throughout the year, Mr. Spreha lectures to the District Judges during their annual training at the Pennsylvania Judicial Center in Harrisburg.
Mr. Spreha lectures multiple times a year for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute on the areas of Motor Vehicle Law and Driving Under the Influence Law. His appearances at these seminars are video-taped and presented across the state throughout the year.
He served on a Cumberland County Bar Association panel of lecturers along with representatives from the Cumberland County District Attorney’s office speaking to fellow attorneys on the topic of ARD in Cumberland County.
Mr. Spreha is the author of numerous seminar outlines on motor vehicle law and is the co-author of a Pennsylvania Law Weekly article on traffic stops in DUI cases titled "Did Your Client Cross the Line"
Mr. Spreha is a 1989 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, a 1993 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and 1996 graduate of Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg.
He and his wife Kelly reside in Lower Paxton Township with their two young children, Jackson and Camille.
