After more than two decades of service to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania which included service as the Chief Counsel to the Office of Inspector General and legal counsel to the State Board of Medicine, the State Board of Osetopathic Medicine and the State Board of Funeral Directors, I founded Rish Law Office, LLC, focusing on the representation of licensed professionals in licensing, disciplinary and other legal matters.

The expert you want.
Wes represented me through an almost 5 year battle with a licensing board due to multiple complaints against my license and we came out with a win and all complaints dismissed without any action against my license. Wes was very quick to respond and attend to my questions by phone or email and was always preparing me for what to expect in the process, including testifying in court. Wes was an excellent attorney in the courtroom, preparing a good defense and showing his expertise and depth of experience and knowledge working with the state, the boards, and representing licensees. He really knows the ins and outs of it all and showing a high degree of professionalism through every point of the process. Wes is also down to earth and easy to talk to, taking the time to explain things in non-legal jargon. I had another attorney initially with this case who made many errors despite being a part of a large firm and I'm so glad I switched to Wes because his representation of me and my needs was excellent!

Pleased with Result
I have never had to use an attorney before for any disciplinary action in my career. When I was told that I needed one, I immediately was shocked, confused and scared. After a couple of weeks searching for a reliable attorney. I came across Attorney Rish's profile. I was referred to Wesley Rish by a family member who not only knew him personally but also knew of his excellent reputation in the legal world. Wesley has many many years of experience in this world and he is respectful, kind and reassuring. He took all of my calls and questions very seriously. He also has a great sense of humor, which I really appreciated! I agree with all of the reviews below...he returned my calls and emails promptly, was available outside of normal working hours if I needed and kept me apprised of every step. Phenomenal support during license application
Mr. Rish supported me tremendously when I applied for an unrestricted PA license. He was extremely responsive also off official working hours. International graduate (IMG) applying for unrestricted full medical license
I am an IMG trained in Europe who was applying to obtain the full medical license in the state of Pennsylvania. Since the first call, Attorney Rish demonstrated to be knowledgeable and experienced in this matter. After I explained my case, he went deep into the details asking pertinent questions that were relevant for the case. Once all these questions were solved to my best, he clearly explained the process, as well as the situation and expected outcomes. I am still shocked about how much he knows of different training programs and specific qualities that are considered by the medical board of the state of Pennsylvania. Prior to reach attorney Rish, I contacted several lawyers and agencies. I decided to hire Mr. Rish without hesitation. He called me almost everyday with updates about my case and he was always opened to answer my question pretty fast either via phone or email. Finally, I got my license approved without any pushbacks in less than a month (for a process that usually takes > 4 months for IMGs). In summary, Attorney Rish demonstrated to be a trustworthy and dedicated lawyer with a well proven knowledge and experience to deal with any medico-legal issue with the Medical Board of the State of Pennsylvania.

I contacted Attorney Rish when I received an Order to Show Cause from the Medical Board of Pennsylvania. I was surprised and relieved when he answered his cell phone. He very quickly got to the core of my issue, and explained my situation to me. As he went through case, he would periodically call me (I am in Ohio) with updates and next steps. I really appreciate his effort in keeping me apprised of the case as it developed. Recently, Wesley called with great news: the Board dismissed the Order to Show Cause. I could not have asked for a better outcome; I am very grateful for his guidance and effort on my behalf.
