Outstanding Lawyer

Michael is exactly what you want in a lawyer. He is knowledgeable, reliable, accessible and passionate. He takes a particular interest in his client's cases and works tirelessly to achieve his client's objectives. I would refer any family member or friend to Michael without hesitation.

Great Professional Lawyer in Ithaca Region

Mike Cyr is a complete professional. I presented him with a fairly difficult situation: -I had a ticket from 7 years ago that I had completely forgotten about. -The town I received the speeding ticket from is notorious for being sticklers. -I had a court date that I couldn't appear in (live an...d work way too far from the Ithaca region). -I requested his consultation about 10 days prior to the court appearance day. -I accepted his services the Friday before my court date (which was a Monday). So he only had 1 business day to prepare (and the weekend). For our first phone consultation, Mike explained exactly what he was going to do, why he was going to do it, and, the results he would try to get. He was very clear and direct so there wasn't any confusion on my end. Other lawyers I talked to seemed like they were giving me the generic canned answer but Mike's attention to detail helped make the decision to choose him very easy. His services are probably more expensive than others in the area but I have no regrets. He's very knowledgable about the goings on in the Ithaca region - and I'm a believer in having a lawyer that's actually familiar with the specific town court and administration. He kept me informed every step of the way (he would both call and email me multiple times throughout the day to make sure I knew what was going on). It was just nice not having to worry about anything. He's worth every penny especially given my circumstance. While I can't say he'll definitely get you the results you want, he'll try very hard. And fortunately for me, he was able to get me the results we discussed on the phone. I highly recommend him especially if you need a lawyer in the Ithaca region.

The Best Possible Defense

If you need the best possible defense lawyer in Ithaca New York, you need Michael Cyr. I'm incredibly grateful to have been represented by Mike, he's not only a great lawyer, he's a great guy. Although I had serious legal troubles stemming from a DWI charge, I'm able to have the life I have today lar...gely due to Mike's serious commitment and dedication to providing me the best possible defense that sought the best possible outcome. I recommend that anyone charged with a DWI immediately retain a lawyer and have representation prior to their first court appearance, without a doubt. There is a lot at stake with any charge, especially a DWI, and I know from personal experience that having Mike as my lawyer gave me an advantage that others in my position just did not share. Mike is extremely knowledgable about DWI laws, and is well respected among his peers and in the court, making him an effective representative who's passion for criminal defense, and sense of empathy, shines through and gets real results. Mike is honest, approachable, down to earth, and a real straight shooter. He's a genuinely nice guy who just wants to help people, and in my case, he made all the difference.
