Saved my life!

I was facing a fourth DWI conviction with very serious consequences. Michael Cyr and Larry Newman were very sincere and professional about handling my unique situation. Without these guys i would have lost my son, job, and home! I can't thank them enough for what they've done for me. I first consu...lted with a huge name attorney always on the radio. Then i realized with the distance, how often would i see the attorney in person? So after reading reviews for local attorneys that specifically represented people with DWI offenses; i called Cyr and Newman because of the amazing genuine ratings i had read. My first call i spoke with Larry for about an hour. He immediately knew the only way i might have a chance is to have an attorney get my story out there. I'm a worry wart and Larry had tons of patience and time to help reassure me of every possible outcome of each court hearing. With Larry and Michael together i felt very confident that i had chosen the right attorneys to represent me. Every individuals case is unique but i can guarantee you that you won't find smarter, more thorough attorneys, than these guys! The reviews were important for me to even make that first phone call. So to thank them i wanted to leave a heartfelt honest review. In hopes that my story might help convince someone else facing very serious DWI charges, to take the leap of faith and choose these two stand up gentlemen. I lost none of the things that were in jeopardy. I received no jail time for a fourth DWI. Excellent, compassionate advocate

The first thing that impressed me was that I called Mike out of the blue on a weekend evening and he answered right away - not just to refer me to a secretary or his regular office hours, either. He listened to my issue and began outlining a plan immediately. Mike was very accommodating in meeting a...t a time that was convenient for me. But what really won me over was his compassion. As I explained the details of my situation (basically, I had a panic attack while grocery shopping and walked out of the store without paying for my food) I got the sense that not only did he believe me, but he truly empathized with me, which was an enormous relief after having dealt with creepy store security and some really brusque police officers. He was patient and respectful as I explained some sensitive background, and he went to court to advocate for me more as an ally than a paid representative. His diligence was what you'd expect from a good lawyer, but I was overwhelmed by the level of kindness he showed me. Mike was able to get my charges reduced from misdemeanor petty larceny to a disorderly conduct violation with no fines, just a requirement that I get counseling I really should have had anyway for the panic attacks. He also modified his standard rate for me given the nature of the situation and the comparatively small amount of work he had to do. I don't expect to ever need a criminal defense attorney again, but if I did I'd hire Mike in a heartbeat. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Excellent attorney

Mike Cyr is a very well spoken and competent attorney he was able to achieve a better outcome than I could ever possibly imagine well worth his fee Thanks Mike

Excellent outcome

I got 3 tickets for abandoning the scene of an accident, unreasonable speed and failing to stop at a stop sign, and they managed to reduce it to a 2 point traffic violation without me having to go to court at all. I'm very thankful I found them online.

Mike Cyr Review

I hired Mike to represent me in a DUI case in Tomkins County New York. Mike was excellent counsel. He successfully achieved the best possible result for me. He is extremely familiar with the law and he took action to best represent me.given the circumstances of my DUI arrest. Mike knows the court... personnel and prosecuting attorneys quite well and presses the best possible argument for his client. He made my experience as convenient as possible. I highly recommend Mike as a defense attorney.
