Elaina has been very good to me as my attorney! She is smart, witty, compassionate and extremely professional. I am a single father desperately trying to protect the custody of my children. It is absolutely terrifying as a father to have to go through the family court legal system. I do not trust... other lawyers, judges and cops who have the power to make decisions about my family. Family court is a very scary place for someone like me; I can’t think of anyone else I’d trust to represent me than Elaina. Horrible lawyer. Took the full retainer. and refused to meet with me OR return a phone call even though I hired her in an emergency custody situation. Was not able to meet with me or talk with me for 2 months after I paid her even though my children were wrongfully taken from me and she reassured me... she'd handle it immediately. Had me sign blank documents but refused to submit a motion to get my children back. Told me I should quit my job and go on disability in order to avoid paying child support. She charged $1400 for a court date that never happened. Allowed unfair child support figures to get acessed on me without objecting using actual financials. She not only didnt help get custody back but she had my family supervised visits removed for 3rd party paid and never informed me. I didnt see my children for 4.5 months (including their birthdays, halloween, thanksgiving and Christmas)because of Ms. Monte and her failure to uphold her responsibilities to her client. I was never notified or served with any document while Ms. Monte represented me. Ms. Monte also disregards documented instances of child abuse and advised me to 'do whatever he says (the opossing party) even if it's against the order'. Ms. Monte is part of the lawyers club. Her and William Hites, and so many others, follow the same script and timeline word for word. Ms. Monte finds grieving parents as a target for profits and will allow children to endure unneccessary trauma in order to make her pockets fatter. Ms. Monte should NOT be allowed to practice law and is a direct danger to children. If you want to question any of these statements, I have the receipts.

First- It is nice to know that Ms. Monte will respond to a Google review rather than respond to her paying clients. I have spent $7500 in three years and nothing has changed. We now face trial and she wants an additional $5000. After many attorney only conferences which they are probably talking abo...ut where to go golfing next, I have NEVER heard from her about how my case is going. I literally just received a phone call a month ago stating that it was going to trial and she needs an additional $5000. Second- Ms. Monte is constantly going on vacation. It is extremely hard to get ahold of her and what is most frustrating is when you send her a text and she doesn't respond, she still triple charges you even though she hasn't responded. Third- She claims that she genuinely cares and goes above and beyond for her clients. Not only is that statement false but it is grossly misleading. She has not once cares about my situation or the well being of my child, if she did my court case would be wrapped up by now. Grand total: 12,500.00 for absolutely nothing! Nothing has changed in my court case in three years!!!! The visitation is still the same. We now face the anxiety of trial and leaving it up to a complete total stranger to see what is the best interest of the child based on he said/she said. She is the ultimate fraud!
