Fifteen years ago a judgement was filed against me. I was never served or sent any kind of notification of a hearing or court date. A month after the judgement was filed I recieved a letter stating I had a judgement filed against me for a debt that was fraudulent. The next day I went to the court tha...t it was filed with and was told there was nothing I could do to reverse the judgement. My wife and I spent 5 years going back and forth with the collections agencies it was assigned to, none could ever give any information of the debts origins, who the debt was with, or how it came to go directly to a judgement with no notifications made to me. My wife was able to get this debt taken off my credit with all the agencies, so I thought that it was solved. Last year we when to sell our house, and found a lein on our title for the mysterious debt. We were at a loss on how to fix this. No lawyer seemed to deal with this type of debt, everyone wanted me to file bankruptcy. I was give Tony's number from an attorney in New York City. I've used Anthony Pietrafesa twice.
