Called the firm because I needed a lawyer, was told they charge 150$ just to speak to the lawyer. Pay it fine whatever kinda sad they need to charge for a consultation but it is what it is. Problem I have is I didn't receive a phone call from this belsky, sure did get the emails wanting a survey and ...they sure took my money. Do not. Do not use this firm. Worst I've seen

Michael Belsky is one of the worst lawyers I have ever hired. He is very rude and abnoxious and does not keep you informed about what is going on. I was hoping that Mr. Belsky would fight for me and help me get more in my case but he didn't seem very interested in fighting and putting in the extra ef...fort. He left me totally in the dark about my case and I was totally dissatisfied with the outcome. He was slow to get back when I called and when he did get back he seemed annoyed, short, and condescending. I would never use him again or recommend him or Tully Rinkey to anyone. They are very overpriced, do not listen to or keep their clients informed and you walk away feeling like you did not get your money's worth. Do not, I repeat do not use this firm. You will leave with your head down and have a much lighter wallet. This firm doesn't care about their clients they just care about the money they can get from you.

Mr. Belsky was referred to my wife and I by the law guardian who was helping our grandson. I was somewhat surprised that the other lawyer spoke so glowingly about Mr. Belsky. However, after meeting with Mike I understood at once! Mr. Belsky handled our case in as caring, expert and professional ma...nner as we could have hoped for. At first we did not think we had the legal grounds to get what we wanted....But Mr. Belsky was quite familiar with all of the local and state Custody Laws and before long we had everthing we wanted. Now, we had spoken to other attorneys before Mike and I am certain we would not have gotten the favorable outcome we did, should we have gone with another lawyer. He will handle all my legal matters in the future. I trust him that much!

I didn't want to post a review immediately after the custody case and looking back over the whole thing all in all he failed me as a lawyer. He did offer good advice at first including getting a psychological evaluation done on my ex spouse who was found to severely alienating my children from me bu...t after that he rarely returned phone calls or emails. He neglected to tell the judge about every time my ex violated court orders and did not seem to have much of a drive advocating for me once the money was received. We had a separation agreement in place and according to the agreement my ex spouse had to reimburse me for any legal fees incurred is she was unsuccessful. I reminded him of this but at that point he had received his money and let it slide costing me over $15,000 and even worse still subjecting my kids to the psychological abuse because I followed his advice of not having the case heard by the judge and settling. So after some time has passed would I recommend him? NO! Was he completely awful and the worst attorney? No, but pretty awful and now I live with the consequences.
