For more than two decades, I have provided representation for clients with family and matrimonial matters. My clients come from every walk and include stay at home parents, educators, service professionals, medical professionals, business owners, and corporate CEO's. They include young parents, spouses in long term marriages, domestic partners, and more. I handle their cases through a variety of platforms, including mediation, negotiation and litigation.
My practice includes all family and matrimonial law issues: the division of assets, child support, spousal maintenance, child custody and parenting time, relocation, modification petitions, interstate support, interstate custody, qualified domestic relations orders, and prenuptial agreements.
My office is committed to empowering clients to pursue what they view as the best remedies for their personal circumstances. My clients come in with questions regarding their rights and obligations, the costs and benefits of different courses of action, and their chances of prevailing in their legal disputes. I firmly believe that by providing knowledge to my clients regarding all of these issues, they will remain engaged and in charge, and enabled to directe the strategies that my office can employ to deliver the relief they seek.

Money for Nothing...This should be her theme song
A few years ago we hired her to help us and this was after the divorce was final and complete. She fed us with a bunch of great strategies that she would put in place to help, all ended up being untrue, whereby we ended up losing and not a single thing was changed or implemented as we had discussed ...

Used Jean and her firm for both my divorce and subsequent dispute over the selling of a marital home. The agreement they negotiated left me a bad position once the marital house was to be sold and left me spending approximately $35 thousand dollars on them, as they held the funds at their firm in es...
Tracy - you and I both know that most of what you wrote is a lie. First, your initial agreement provided you with primary custody and full child support. Based on your income level and the spousal maintenance statute, you should have been paying spousal maintenance. We obtained a full waiver on all such payments. You received credits for all debt and principal mortgage payments made by you. Your initial agreement was more beneficial to you than your spouse. You initiated post judgment proceedings pertaining to the sale of your house. Both Kate Falco and I advised you that it would be a stretch to get what you wanted. You were, however, insistent that we proceed to try to get what you felt you deserved. Our advise to you on what we thought we could accomplish was not just verbal - we have it in writing. You were told that it was a stretch. The judge assigned to your case was, however, initially disposed to grant the relief that you wanted. However, after reviewing all papers from both sides, he was not. At that point, you changed attorneys, negotiated directly with your ex in a manner that could have been accomplished two years earlier and then blamed us for not getting what you wanted. I also will note that the documentation that we needed from you to pursue your claims took months and months to obtain. You were kept apprised at every step of the way what we were doing and what we could do. As to court appearances, there were only two and both were attended by Kate. Neither your ex nor his attorney showed up for the first appearance and Kate was not late to the second one. That was a conference for the attorneys and the judge only. We did and always do adhere to the specifics of our Retainer Agreement to refund an unused retainer. We have one admin who handles accounting once per month. As a result, the procedure for us to send a refund is in our Retainer Agreement and it is based on a once per month accounting and billing cycle. We adhered to that Agreement, which you signed. I guess you wanted what you wanted notwithstanding what was in the agreement that you signed. Your review is not only unfair, it contains blatant lies.

highly recommended attorney
She was amazingly helpful and empathetic and compassionate to my situation. I had an attorney prior to her who didn't do a darn thing for me for well over a year, but Jean got right on my case and kept it moving along. Her staff is so very helpful as well. I highly recommend Jean.

Great People
Jean represented me during my divorce proceedings for a little over a year until an agreement was made. We were able to come to an agreement and settle out of court and mostly stay out of the court house. I felt represented very well and have the utmost confidence in Jean's legal prowess. Jean and h...

Just my opinion, Not happy, felt cheated and not represented well
In my opinion- WORST LAWYER POSSIBLE, I paid Jean and her team over $12,000 to do nothing more then shuffle papers. I do not feel she was efficient. Her office is in a run down building and the front door being locked all the time should be a good indication of what kind of service you will get. I fe...
I really do not know who you are because you did not sign your name. I cannot respond to your complaints because of that. I do not have a record of a client named Kenneth who left my firm for another firm. I do not answer my own phone, so no clock runs when you first call my office. I handle a lot of communications with clients by email so that detailed answers can be provided. Yes, my office is in an older building. Our office is currently undergoing renovations. However, That has nothing to do with the level of services provided by me or my staff. Yes, my office is locked. A former law student/clerical employee who was suffering from mental health issues threatened two of staff members. My response was to do what was necessary to ensure their safety. He also posted reviews like this about me and other professionals on the internet using assumed names.
