Biography
Mr. Byron Divins, Jr. is a founding partner of Divins & Divins, P.C. His practice focuses on family law, advocating for clients dealing with issues relatted to child custody, visitation, support, modification of child support, pre/post nuptial agreements, maintenance and divorce. He appears in Suffolk, Nassau, Queens, Kings and New York County. With twenty years of experience, Mr. Divins quickly sifts through the legal issues and presents a well reasoned, common sense approached based on a solid foundation of the law.
Immediately after graduating law school, Mr. Divins joined the United States Navy’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps. Mr. Divins served with the Active Duty Navy from 1996 until 2009. During his time he advised Sailors and Marines on all aspects of family law. He currently serves as a Naval Reservist continuing to provide family law advice to military personnel. Mr. Divins brings the natural aggresiveness you would expect from a senior Naval Officer. His advice is tempered with practical realities of the Court system and the best interests of your familiy.
