The best of the best!

As anyone can imagine, the task of getting divorced and having two very young children is extremely daunting. A friend of mine suggested Mr. Divins and so I went to see him. After an hour, free-consultation, I walked out of his office feeling as if the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulder...s. I'm an elementary school teacher and don't know a thing about the law, divorce or how to handle angry, difficult adversaries. Byron assured me that he would handle everything from soup to nuts and that he'd walk me through everything, step by step. And that is exactly what he did! Not only is Byron a talented lawyer, but he is a caring, tireless, patient and understanding man. With every step along the way, he explained what was happening, asked me my thoughts, listened to my concerns and made sure I was doing ok. Byron cares about his clients. He's invested in their well-being and will fight for what he believes. He was available at all hours of the day, 7 days a week and made me feel as if my case was the most important one he had. I highly recommend Byron as a lawyer, and know first-hand that he is among the very best in New York.

Really knows his stuff

Mr. Divins has given me 100% accurate information and advice and delivered it in a no nonsense and professional manner. I feel blessed to have had his help and if you're looking for a great attorney you can stop here. You have found one.

I highly recommend Mr. Byron Divins

I am happy to recommend Byron Divins. I hired him for a divorce recently and he far exceeded my expectations. He not only took exceptional care of my situation , he alleviated much of the stress. what makes Mr Divins different thsn other lawyers

Byron Divins recently helped out a close friend of mine with his divorce and he was wonderful. When we first met, I asked what differentiates him from other lawyers. He quickly answered that it was his time in the Navy that taught him to be disciplined and go thru a check list of things, one by one..., in order, so nothing is skipped. He is very knowledgeable about recent changes in the law, he is compassionate to his clients and he fights with all his strength to win the best outcome. Losing is not an option...

Hire Byron if you want results, cost effectiveness, peace of mind, and professionalism!!

My HERO!! I live in Texas but divorce was filed in NY so difficult my end being out of state, but I had BYRON handling everything for me locally in New York on my behalf!! I fired the largest firm in Long Island after 18 months and $20K spent on a divorce where THAT horrible firm complicated things ...towards an unnecessary trial and cost me tons of money. Upon hiring Byron, he simplified the mess quickly, was a pit bull for my best interests; and, within a few weeks, trial was NOT happening. He settled my case fairly, quickly, effectively and did not charge me more than he told me he would - WOW! Beyond the financial aspect as divorce can be costly, Byron kept me appraised along the way, explained principal versus my best interest in getting on with my life and what I had been trying to do all along, but did not cut corners whatsover to get my case resolved until I was satisfied with the legal documentation. HIGHLY responsive to my calls and emails ALWAYS even on weekends and as a client under distress, this is important to know he responds fast! He offered VERY sound advice, but also being an A-type as I am, I pushed back on a few things and he was COLLABORATIVE where others are condescending, but he was polite, sensitive and LISTENED!! WITHOUT question, I recommend Mr. Divins for Family law, military divorce matters as my case was a military divorce, but also all around law as he knows business law, criminal law, military law, and a VETERAN which matters to me. Highly ethical professional and just a GREAT man period! He will be my attorney forever although NOT divorce again, but definitely will hire him for business law or general legal advice as not ever going through divorce again after the nightmare Byron resolved for me!! Thank you Byron for giving me life back!!
