Biography
As an immigration attorney with over seven (7) years of experience, and an immigrant herself, Renée has a unique insight into U.S. immigration law that allows her to understand and identify with her clients’ perspectives. Her extensive experience working with a diverse client base also renders her an expert in the areas of business and family immigration and nationality law.
Renée has guided both corporations and individuals from around the world through the complex U.S. immigration system. Specifically, Renée has helped individuals obtain nonimmigrant visas, green cards and citizenship. She has also assisted large and small corporations in a variety of industries, including the Information Technology, Jewelry, Hospitality, Financial and Legal industries, in hiring foreign nationals by ensuring that their prospective employees successfully obtained various employment-based nonimmigrant visas and green cards. Further, she has assisted corporations with their I-9 and Labor Condition Application compliance. Due to her very diverse experience Renée is comfortable dealing with any business or family immigration or nationality issue.
Renée is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Fordham University in 2000 and her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School (NYLS) in 2006. Renée also voluntarily performed additional hours of community service earning her the NYLS Public Service Certificate.
Renée remains connected to her community by being an active volunteer with many community outreach organizations and her local bar association. Renée is a regular volunteer with New York Cares; CUNY Citizenship Now! Daily News Call In; CUNY Citizenship Now! Citizenship Day; AILA Citizenship Day; New York City Immigrant Advocacy (NYCIAI) TPS clinic; New York City Immigrant Advocacy (NYCIAI) Clinic. In addition, Renee is a proud member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), AILA New York Chapter, AILA, New York Chapter Pro Bono Committee, New York County Lawyer’s Association (NYCLA) and NYCLA, Immigration and Nationality Committee.
