I was referred to James by the realtor I was working with. He helped me navigate the closing while buying my co-op, which ended up being a lot more time consuming and complicated than we anticipated. James was always available and answered all of my questions quickly. He is extremely kind, hardworki...ng, knowledgable and efficient. He is also 100% on his clients side, even if referred by a 3rd party (something I was initially cautious about). When I was thrown a huge curveball during the process, James went above and beyond to make sure that this sale would happen while other sides were ready to drop everything and move on. I would not have gotten my apartment had I chosen a different attorney. I can't emphasize that point enough, as he is the only one who would have gone to bat for a client like that. I'd recommend him 100% to everyone needing an RE Attorney and will definitely use him for any real estate transactions I have in the future.

Our real estate agent hired James for the closing of our family house and related family disbursements. I have had the opportunity to work closely with him for the span of three months. I knew going in that this sale would be problematic due to title liens, HPD violations and my insane family members... - all complicating the matter further. James was tremendous in helping me to successfully close on a piece of real estate. He's knowledgeable in his field; personable & friendly; and apparently has strong negotiation skills, as he got the Seller's lawyers to lower some costs. Furthermore, his fees are fair and he will go the Extra distanc...e at the end/closing to ensure that there are no loose ends that could adversely affect his client.
