My fiancé and I were excited to find a seemingly perfect condo in a new building and were thrilled when our offer was accepting. However, it was our first time buying in New York and we knew we'd need help. I found Judy through a legal assistance program that's offered in my office and was thrilled t...o find that she was straight-forward and to the point after our first call. While we waited for the paperwork from the condo she was amazing at checking in and giving me updates and was able to work with my hectic schedule to get a meeting on the books; along with sending me all the paperwork so I was able to prepare questions in advance of our meeting. When we met she had done her due diligence and thoroughly gone through all the paperwork the Sponsor had sent over - finding out that no only had the Sponsor gone bankrupt, but he had several other buildings in Brooklyn with massive issues. Judy saved us from buying in to a poorly built, potential disaster. She did the background work needed to ensure that we were taken care of and making smart investments - its rare to find a lawyer who has your back like that! This sale obviously didn't pan out, but Judy will be the only lawyer we use for any upcoming purchases!

Judy Mock was a pleasure to work with. My husband and I got in touch with her to execute our wills, trusts, and living wills and she was so helpful and quick and enjoyable to work with. She's very personable and friendly but also takes care of business. We had a few correspondences and then one hour ...long phone call which was thorough and informative. She got our documents back to us right when she said she would, and we were able to schedule for signing the following week. Meeting her in person was great. She made what could be a very arduous process very simple and straightforward, and I also feel confident that everything was done correctly. She has many years of experience and we know we were working with a real pro. I would definitely use her again.

Ms Mock handled a very problematic guardianship situation in an expedited manner! She has a no nonsense, razor sharp approach in elder care. Me and my boyfriend were to buy a two family house. I found Judy online, read her good reviews, and contacted her. She responded to my very quickly; after a quick call, she sent me a to do list, which is a very clear and helpful guidance. We scheduled a meeting to go over our contract. Before the mee...ting, she already did all the DD, and a lot of research on the house(which i am not sure if all attorneys would have done so, I purchased a condo in 2017, closed with a different attorney, back then, I didn't interact with my attorney much or discuss all terms in details, maybe because condos are easier. ). At the meeting, she explained to us about the potential issue of the house; explained the terms in contract and how we can best protect our down payment deposits in multiples ways; and all other perspectives that we should add/change in the contracts to help us, she didn't overlook any details. She didn't rush us to get in contract/close the house so she could get paid, instead, she expressed her concerns on the issues of the house, and gave us very helpful suggestions on what we could do if we really want the house. We truly felt that Judy acted best for her client, and make sure we don't get into a contract while end up with a lot of troubles. Me and my boyfriend researched more on the issues of the house, and ended up deciding not to buy the house(which saved us a lot of money and time). Judy is very experienced, and thorough, she is very honest and very straight to the point, she is definitely a great partner if you want to buy a house and we felt really lucky to work with her and she helped us stay away from a trouble house. We will find our dream house and close with Judy for sure.
