Great Lawyer

I recently used Judy to purchase my house on Long Island with my wife. Judy is very attentive to detail and was extremely helpful in understanding the clauses in the contract. She handled all interactions with the seller's attorney timely and within the same day. At closing, she broke down each cos...t that we were paying with our closing cost and we knew exactly how much money was to be paid before we showed up to sign the papers. She was very up-front about certain circumstances and what could or could not be negotiated with the seller. Judy was very thoughtful and accommodating with her schedule and gave multiple times when she could meet. She made my first home purchase very easy and got us into the house 21 days before the original close date which was amazing. I would highly recommend Judy for any real estate purchase.

Excellent

I am a first time homebuyer who closed about 3 weeks ago. Judy is good. She was straightforward and detailed all the costs that may be involved in the process. She was very responsive with any questions and concerns I raised throughout the process. When we reviewed the purchase contract togethe...r, she highlighted everything of concern, including things I didn’t pick up. Throughout the process, she gave very good instructions on what to do and what to expect next. At the closing, she was very good at explaining the payment details. At the end of the process, I did not have any more questions for her. She had answered all my questions. I would recommend her to other people and would reach out to her again for any other legal services she provides.

Terrible lawyer

I need to write this while its fresh in my mind. Do not use this lawyer. She is terrible and negligent. She has overloaded herself and missed things on more than one occasion. She has screwed me in my house purchase and in the end I have to eat the costs not here so I warn you DO NOT USE HER. I h...ad told her that I had wanted to move in as soon as possible yet she failed to informed us that there was a cause that included a 30 days period after the closing allowing the sellers to stay. She also failed to negotiate any monetary reim5bursement for us. So basically the sellers can stay 30 days on my dime. What kind of lawyer does this? I pay her to ensure I get what I want not to help the sellers. Also when we signed the contract she wrote the wrong amount on my down payment check and we had to personally send another check to the sellers attorney. Talk about being unorganized. Another time, she wasted her own time and mine trying to negotiating a clause that was already finalized. If she spent more time on the other part maybe I would not be in this predicament. She also make a mistake doing simple math through one of our email correspondence. I believe her reviews are fake so please take my warnings to heart. You do not want her. I am so frustrated over this. I have switched a lawyer right before my closing cause she has messed up too much . If you have her drop her. If you dont please look somewhere else. Also if you have any questions I will gladly answer them so you wont make the same terrible mistake I did.

I am very sorry my services didn’t meet your approval. Unfortunately, I believe your review is plagued with inaccuracies due to: (1) you had the contract at least 2 weeks before you entered into the same, (2) we had three separate consultations regarding the review of the contracts; (3) I specifically asked you (and all my other clients) if you had any questions prior to the execution of the contracts; and (4) I always try to make myself available to answer all questions posed by all clients. Notwithstanding the same, I wish both VS and you the best of luck in your future endeavors. Take Care. Dear Avvo Community: As can be seen by my numerous 5 star client reviews on Avvo, Yelp and other online sites, I absolutely care about my clients and I take my responsibilities extremely seriously. I always strive to zealously represent and protect each of my clients. It is disheartening that some individuals feel the need to defame my good name with false reviews and malicious lies. We let all of our 5 star client reviews speak for themselves and hope we are able to help you in your time of need. Please feel free to me for your all of your legal needs.

Amazing Lawyer and Great Experience!

Judy worked with me on securing my first home purchase. She walked me through every step of the way and answered all of my countless questions. This alone was a very time consuming process considering it was my first home purchase, and it being a co-op apartment made it much more complex. But she did... it patiently without a single complaint. I naively believed that most coops were managed well and did not usually have issues with their financials, but I was very quickly taught otherwise. In fact, the first coop I had an accepted offer with turned out to be mismanaged and riddled with lawsuits. I would not have known without Judy’s diligence. Judy is extremely detailed-oriented and knowledgeable. Not only would she review the due diligence documents provided by the coop, but she would go above and beyond by researching outstanding lawsuits and other public information and records. Whereas, most real estate lawyers I’ve heard through word of mouth do the very minimum to get you to close as soon as possible. Judy was determined to make sure I received and understood all of the information provided and more, so that I could make the best decision for myself. All of my emails and phone calls are quickly answered and returned. Judy is really on top of everything. She genuinely wants the very best for her clients. She even recommended multiple lenders to make sure I received the best rates with the lowest fees. Additionally, she took extra steps to minimize my closing costs when she easily didn’t have to. Judy is also very risk averse. This is a very good quality to have when working with a lawyer. She is very straight forward and tells you honestly what she thinks when a transaction is not a good deal or too risky to take on. All of her advice and guidance was invaluable to me when I was deciding whether or not to go forward with any deal. She understands the decision is ultimately up to her clients, but knowing all the risks only benefits them. I’ve spoken to several of my friends who find out about potential risks and issues only after they close. Judy has earned herself a lifelong client. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a lawyer.

Best Lawyer in Brooklyn

Ms. Mock is a compassionate and knowledgeable attorney who truly has her client's best interests at heart. She was able to resolve my legal issues quickly and save me a LOT in legal fees unlike my previous attorney who did nothing but constantly demand that I pay his excessive legal bills.
