When my partner and I found Judy via the Metlife Legal Plan portal, I made sure I did my research and I was so glad to find people who used the plan and had great help from her (b/c I was afraid I will be treated differently from her other clients :P). Even before the seller and we agreed on the final price of the house, Judy has consulted us by walking through the contract and outlining what she would counter propose. During the process of obtaining title insurance, instead of overlooking an old survey of the house/lot Judy helped obtain a new survey which ensures a smooth closing process without any title defects. I purchased a new construction condo and consider myself very lucky to have had Judy as my attorney for it. She was there from the beginning to thoroughly review my agreement and explain every question that I had. She helped negotiate a contingency with the seller and ensured clauses were included in... the addendum that helped to protect me. Judy is through, organized and a no-nonsense type person – which is exactly what you need with a new construction purchase – it is not for the faint of heart! Judy won’t sugar coat things to make you feel better, that is not why you hired a lawyer to look out for you. She states facts and tells you the truth – and now that my closing is finished, I can honestly say she was right about everything. She personally triple checks all documents – she caught multiple mistakes that other’s did not see. Judy went above and beyond in my opinion – she was relentless - she will fight for you! I highly recommend her for your real estate purchase.

My fiancé and I used Judy to help us close on an apartment and she was helpful off the bat, providing advice before we even decided to proceed with her. Judy was incredibly responsive to us and the seller's agent/attorney. Not only is she a strong communicator, she actually spent hours on the p...hone with us to ensure we understood the meaning of all contracts and to advise us along the way. We imagine that's not the typical experience with a New York attorney. All that said, we cannot recommend Judy enough. I feel lucky to have found her!
