Ineffective and incompetent

Before getting hired, Dan assured me that he has handled many cases like mine and would be certain to negotiate a deal for me (toll bridge issue) I sent the money (never received a bill, never received a retainer notice, nothing). Finally the court date arrived. Now, one would think that after all is... assurances Dan would have came back from the court date with a solid plan in place. Nope. First of all, some random person went to the hearing and all I received from them was a screenshot of a sheet of paper. He then tells me I need to call ez pass and negotiate with them - excuse me, wasn’t that what he was hired for? I call ez pass and they tell me they have no record of an attorney on file or any negotiation and tell me to have my lawyer call if I have one. I relay this message then wait over two weeks before contacting him again and finding out no, he didn’t call and now has a whole different story. Up to now i have no idea what he was paid for. I am positive I would have had the same result going to the court date myself because ten days later my registration was suspended. Now, I thought he was supposed to have prevented that with high negotiation savvy? I thought he had prevents tons of registrations from getting suspended? I would advise anyone with an ez pass or toll bridge issue to NOT use this firm. It’s like hiring a lawyer to help with a foreclosure, your lawyer telling you that you have to call the bank and then someone shows up to lock you out your house. A lawyer, I wrongly thought, is hired to prevent that from happening. I have found several other negative reviews online and should have listened to them before hiring - but he sounded so confident that he could handle my issue that I ignored them. Please do not make the same mistake I did. I’m not sure why my other review was not accepted, but I want to write an honest review to save other people stress, time and money. Run away from this law firm. Do not believe anything he tells you.
