As 19 year tenants of a two- family dwelling, we were suddenly faced with what’s called a “termination of tenancy” (vacate within 30 days) served to us by our long-time Landlord, who is also a Real Estate Attorney. He sold the building six-weeks before notifying us. By the way, we were excellent ten...ants- took care of the place AND never missed a payment! Our landlord negotiated with us an “exit deal” and then continuously changed the terms, as we complied with each part of the deal (ie; we secure an apt within the 30 days, he will pay for move, brokers fee, etc.). We (happily) informed him that we found a place and would move one week earlier than the 30 days. His response was, “the deal was 2 weeks or no $.” WOW!! We would’ve never agreed to that! Who would?!! Always get ALL details in writing, even when you have a cordial and almost 20-year relationship! I called Mr. Rosenblatt for a free consultation, he quickly put my mind at ease by confirming that (we were being bullied) “he knows he can’t do that” I explained that we really wanted to avoid a court battle (and all the negativity that goes with it), Mr. Rosenblatt explained what he can get for us in court, but we would lose the apartment we found (with parking included - in Brooklyn). He was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional! He wasn’t curt and didn’t interrupt - as another attorney I called did. The advice he gave me was useful and realistic- if we have no choice but to go to court, he’s the guy I want representing us!!

Once again, the the employee has to help his boss. With out names there is a Warehouse in E. New York Brooklyn, that is privately owned. Part of this facility was leased with a lease to a sub-tenant who was suppose to be out this past Monday the 4th. The owner lost his cool, and was ready to well y...ou know. ( I'can't type the rest.) I found Robert, on a Saturday, and he answered his cell rightway. Brooklyn based willing to travel to see client on Monday. For both of them it seemed like a good fit. Monday meeting, and formal paperwork to be filled. Unless having an attorney present makes this other sub-tenant move. Didn't ask anything about fees; but I do see there is a special on yelp. on the phone, and I hate to assume but all will be dealt with Monday. I think a new business connection for two Brooklyn born business men.will go well. I'm hoping to refer him to my cousin also in Brooklyn, who maybe having landlord /tenant issues down the line.

Mr. Rosenblatt took the time to answer all my questions clearly during the free consultation which ended up being more than 30 minutes, though he did not rush me at all. He was extremely confident in his ability to represent me and get me the results I was looking for. We are currently wrapping up th...e final stipulations of my tenant/landlord eviction issue now, however he was very easily able to negotiate for me much more than I expected. I would have never imagined being able to come out of this as well off as I did, both financially and emotionally. Mr. Rosenblatt knows his stuff and you are in very good hands when it comes to dealing with landlords issue (I was the tenant).
