Avoid this lawyer and his firm.
I hired his law firm on May 7 relying on AVVO rating but totally regretted afterward. I have a bad tenant who paid just 1 month rent and never vacated an apartment he has been subletting from me. Robert R. after speaking with tenant's lawyer convinced me he made an agreement that the tenant would va...
The client expected me to get the tenant our in 30 days which was impossible. The client was completely unreasonable and he blamed my office for the delays in an eviction process. He never did file a grievance against me as I did nothing improper. He did not pay my bills and I was forced to sue him to get paid and I won the lawsuit against the client for the unpaid legal bills

Be careful on thouse reviews!
As a landlord I did not find them very professional and helpful. It seemed like they were working for my tenant. All they want to make a deal with my tenants (instead of going for trial)which was cost me 3 months unpaid rent plus their fees. it was very simple holdover case. I was misled by all ...
I find it very strange that we have over 30 excellent reviews from clients who identify themselves but the only negative review we have ever received on AVVO is anonymous. Could this be a jealous competitor? Nevertheless, some tenants simply do not have the rent or refuse to pay any rent. You can not get blood from a stone. In a case that the tenant refuses to pay the rent, the eviction will be quicker (i.e. 3 months instead of 6) but clearly the review here (if it is real) states that we did evict the tenant so the landlord was successful in winning the case but did not collect any rent. Some landlords simply do not understand that the nature of the beast in housing court is that some tenants simply do not pay rent and that is why we evicted the tenant. If this is from a real client, I am sorry that the client did understand the difficulty of landlord tenant Court in the City of New York. By the way, if the landlord would have waited for a Trial on this matter, the Court is so overloaded that it would have taken another 3 months until a Judge was available to have a Trial on this matter and then obtaining and serving a warrant of eviction and the landlord would have lost another 3 months.
"Robert was my opposing counsel on a landlord tenant matter. He was cordial and professional, and was a strong proponent of his client's position. Robert was also an effective communicator and appeared very knowledgeable and experienced in the applicable law."
"I endorse this lawyer. I worked on a matter with Mr. Rosenblatt as my adversary. He was extremely professional and cordial throughout the case. In the event I ever had to refer a matter outside of my office I would certainly consider his office."
"Mr. Rosenblatt is an expert in the field of Landlord/Tenant law. His approach to handling cases is aggressive, effective and aimed only at achieving the best results for his clients. His knowledge of Landlord/Tenant law is superior among his peers. I highly recommend this counsel to anyone with Landlord/Tenant issues."
