The Law Offices of James Kousouros — with offices in midtown Manhattan and Queens — focuses primarily on criminal defense advocacy. As such, Mr. Kousouros and his counsel handle the full spectrum of state and federal criminal prosecutions. These cases include prosecutions for complex securities and other white-collar crimes, racketeering charges, homicide, narcotics violations, DWI, domestic violence, and simple assault, among others. As an inherent part of our practice, we represent clients in all stages of the criminal process: from the pre-arrest investigatigatory stage, to grand jury proceedings, indictment, plea negotiations, trial, as well as at all levels of the appellate process, including post conviction litigation and appeals. Our practice takes us to all state courts in New York and to federal courts throughout the country, as well as to international courts.
