Amazing Attorney

It’s an understatement to say Matthew Porges is outstanding!!! He is far beyond outstanding. I had a Landlord/Tenant case. I told Matthew it was going to be very difficult. It was worse than we imagined. Matthew is the only attorney capable of handling it. He did it. He did it on weekends when needed.... He went out of his way with great compassion and he truly cares about the result more than the finances. He is very intelligent. Very Patient. Simply the best ever!!!

Apartment violations

Matt was extremely knowledgeable and compassionate in dealing with my struggles concerning multiple violations in my apartment unit and building. He fought for my rights as a tenant, and helped me get out of a situation that threatened my health and safety. I cannot thank him enough. Highly reco...mmend.

Eviction of tenant

Matt is a great guy as an attorney and as a person. He keeps an open line of communication, goes the extra mile and checks on you during the process, and is kind and patient. We had a challenging case. He took his time went through the details prepared for the case. The judged ruled in our favor and ...we received a judgment for the tenant to be evicted. Thanks Matt

Informative & Responsive

My charity hired Matthew to oversee the eviction of an unpaying tenant we had difficulty with for years. Our previous lawyer recommended him and I have no complaints. Due to covid policies and more, it was a long process (over 1.5 years). Matthew remained an asset at every step. He listened to all ou...r concerns and took time to explain our legal options in-depth. His availability and efficiency to move the process along is also appreciated. I recommend him for any NYC landlord struggling with a tenant.
