It’s important to know the person you’re hiring as an attorney, which is why I feel proud to share my current and past experience, skills and qualifications with you. My name is Eric Sarver. I am an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of New York, and am admitted in the Federal Courts, in both the Eastern and Southern Districts. A 1995 graduate of Binghamton University undergraduate school and a 1998 Hofstra University Law School, I began practicing in the field of civil rights, labor and employment law. Prior to founding The Law Offices of Eric M. Sarver, I was employed from 1998 through 2001, as an associate attorney at Menagh, Trainor & Falcone, P.C., a competitive Park Avenue law firm, before joining Rosen, Leff, P.C. as an associate attorney, from January, 2000 to March, 2001. I further worked in various capacities – including part-time associate, of-counsel and per diem attorney -- for the Law Offices of Frederick K. Brewington, Esq., between 1998 and 1999, and from 2001 through 2009.
During my near seventeen years of practicing law, I have predominantly concentrated on federal civil rights litigation, labor & employment law, appeals, and commercial litigation (business law). I am proud of my firm’s accomplishments: having procured over $1,000,000 in verdicts and settlements on very complex and sophisticated federal and state court cases (including matters involving employment discrimination, unfair labor practices, and constitutional torts), under Title VII, the ADEA (Age Discrimination in Employment Act), the ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act), the NLRA (National Labor Relations Act), the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), and the New York State and New York City Human Rights Laws.
My passion for helping people extends to the small business owner, social entrepreneur, and non-profit organization.
