Jay I. Simon

Today was my day in court and all i could say is I'm glad I had Mr. Simon. From our first initial meeting up until my court date he kept me well informed and made me feel comfortable. His office is cozy, cute and I love the decor. He made one of the most difficult decisions of my life the most easie...st. I would recommend him to everyone honestly it gets no better then Mr. Simon he is the man! THANKS AGAIN MR. SIMON!

I am so glad that I chose Jay Simon. From our first meeting, I knew Jay would get me through this bankruptcy. He is such a sweet person. There is a kindness in his smile. He is a very comforting presence. He is so kind and supportive of his clients. He seems to truly care about the people he is... helping and want them to be happy and comfortable doing the bankruptcy. I was down and depressed and he was always encouraging and never let me put myself down or get down on myself. Having someone believe in me, it’s a small, but really, really big thing. Jay was very tolerant and kind to me throughout this process. You know he is, or would make, a good dad. I truly love this man. Jay Simon is the nice, perfect bankruptcy attorney. His spark, down-to-earth ways, his heart, his humor, just added to a positive bankruptcy experience for me. He’s just the best. He was magical. I started thinking about writing this review on Thanksgiving Day 2014. It has been a difficult year for me. My financial situation got progressively worse and I finally decided to file bankruptcy. I was not looking forward to the experience. I expected it to be awful, depressing, humiliating etc.... Lucky for me that I happened to read the Metro newspaper and stumbled upon Jay Simon's newspaper advertisement. It just clicked for me, but I put off making a calling out of dread, but finally I did call. Lo and behold, a nice person actually answered the phone-the bankruptcy attorney himself, Jay Simon. Jay was very different then what I expected from a bankruptcy attorney. It was a pleasure meeting with him. He set it up that he had plenty of time to meet with me, explain things thoroughly, and work with me. He is so nice, caring, supportive and understanding; just a phenomenal person. Bit hard to put how incredible he is into words. Here are some more thoughts: Jay makes you realize there are good people out there. He went out of his way to make bankruptcy a pleasant experience for me. He makes you feel like you are important. He went the extra mile. He was a helping hand when I needed it. He provided quality service. Therefore, what I am thankful for this holiday season is Jay Simon, my bankruptcy attorney. I do not know where I would be now without him. This is my small way of giving thanks.

Jay is just the absolute greatest, most wonderful bankruptcy attorney. He is a very likable with such a big heart. He is sweet, thoughtful, and funny. He is also very caring. It is apparent that he is someone who truly likes taking care of people. He was so good to me. He personally got to ...know me. He has a genuineness that came across in all of our interactions. He is supportive and full of positivity. He said so many sweet and encouraging things, from my first call to his last letter wrapping everything up, to help me get through this harrowing process. He goes above and beyond what you would expect from a bankruptcy attorney and for the fee I paid him. Also, he has humility and empathy. He did not look down on me for having to file bankruptcy and did not act all high and mighty like a typical lawyer. For instance, he would not allow me to call him Mr. Simon or allow me to put myself down for finding myself in this situation. If I had to do it all over again (which I will not if I follow the thorough advice Jay gave me in his informative closing letter) I would not hesitate to hire Jay Simon. He eased every fear I had and really made the entire process incredibly smooth. There are good people in this world and Jay Simon is certainly one of them. He is most highly recommended if you are filing chapter 7 bankruptcy. You will not regret hiring him!

I read these reviews prior to deciding that Mr. Simon was the attorney for me. I am now back to add my review for others to assist others in deciding that Jay Simon should be the bankruptcy attorney for them. I am reminded of a favorite quote from YouTuber Philip DeFranco: "A good man fights for... himself and his; a great man fights for everyone else". If you follow that logic, then Jay Simon is truly a great man. He fought to make my bankruptcy go well for me, just a client. He thought of me before he thought of himself. He could have done things less thorough, sent less concise instructions, not called me to remind me of things I needed to know or do, been less supportive, been less polite, given less effort and still done the job and gotten paid. But instead, he went the extra mile (and then some) and did more then he had to. He went above and beyond to make sure my bankruptcy case went smoothly. He made things so simple, easy and painless. He virtually held my hand through the whole bankruptcy process; like my own personal guardian angel. I have never met anyone nicer. So think about hiring Mr. Simon if you want to be treated like you matter to your attorney, as a person and individual, who needs compassionate help during this hard time in their life. You wont be disappointed. I have never met anyone nicer. If you are looking for a bankruptcy attorney to be on your side as well as by your side, the look no further then Jay Simon.
