I had a very minor case & I'll start out by saying that I got the outcome I wanted.
But I didn't appreciate that I sent him an email regarding my case and pending charges and he never bothered to acknowledge it. He also said that he was going to email me the information on the next appearance date and a referral for an employment attorney for one of my family members & he never did. I also didn't enjoy sitting in the court room on the 2nd appearance he was suppose to be there with me on and how he didn't show up or even contact me. I had to call the office twice before they could track him down---he was on another case that lasted longer than expected. But my case was scheduled for 9:30 in the morning, so I'm not sure why he would book something at 9 considering that odds are he would be there longer than 30 mins.
My case was called by the judge twice before the replacement attorney---who also happens to be the owner of the practice---showed up. What if I didn't call? Would anyone have come or even communicate with me? My problem with the replacement attorney is that he explained that I would have points on my license but when I asked him how many, he couldn't give me a number other than saying "hardly any".
I gave him 2 stars because all the charges were dropped. Otherwise, I'd only give one. It takes less than 2 minutes to answer an email and if he needed to overschedule then he should have at least let me know there was a chance he would be late and have a back up plan in place. The poor communication is simply unacceptable.
