Kim has been my lawyer from the divorce to post judgement child support issues. She is very experienced and well informed in her field. I always felt secure in the way she handled my case. Kim was highly recommended to me by my previous attorney when I needed to find an attorney who was licensed in both NY/NJ. Kim was able to settle my post-judgement matrimonial issue out of court; I was happy with the outcome. Kim was also able to reduce my child support obligation which my previous attorney told me was VERY unlikely to happen. Kim was professional throughout and honest with her billing practices. The staff at the office was also very courteous and got back to me in a timely manner whenever I had a question. Matrimonial issues are emotional and stressful, having a knowledgeable and intelligent attorney on my side helped me through a difficult process.

It is with great enthusiasm that I can say without a doubt that Kim Rayner is one of the finest people anyone can ever be lucky enough to have as their attorney. It’s not just her calm reassuring professionalism—it’s her contagious winning attitude. When I first met Kim, I was confused, nervous and scared to go through the divorce process. From my very first contact, she made me feel that she was there for me. Kim was honest from the beginning and guided me through what we both knew would be a very difficult process with me ex. She navigated through 7 different attorneys hired by my ex spouse over almost 4 years, every unethical tactic thrown our way and all while keeping calm and professional throughout. She is outstanding in the courtroom and I could tell right away that she was well respected by the judge and her peers. She was organized, knew my case inside and out and that showed whenever we were in the courtroom or during conferences with the other side. Kim always kept my best interest and more importantly my children’s best interest at the forefront. My case was a very difficult one that required forensic evaluations, kids attorneys and many other professionals. Kim guided me through all of it! She took the time and explained all of it to me so there were no surprises and made me feel as comfortable as one can during this difficult process. Kim worked with all parties extremely well and was able to show and demonstrate the truth of what was taking place in my case. She absolutely exceeded my expectation and was able to deliver much better results than I was ever expecting. She saved my relationship with my children and I can never thank her enough for that. Her entire staff, specifically Christie and Donna are outstanding and extremely professional and responsive. A true extension of the team. We hired Kim for a very complicated custody case, grandparents Vs parents. She was honest and upfront wtih us letting us know its is extremely difficult case, but after listening to our circumstances she took the case and guided us every step of the way. After 2 long years we final got custody of our grandson. Kim is worth every penny.

I hired Attorney Kim Rayner for a child support case in NY while I lived in GA. From the first few minutes of speaking with her, I knew she was who I wanted representing me while I was so far away. Kim is blunt, she knows the law. She is a fighter in the court room and doesn’t back down from the best interest of her clients. She won me all I wanted and so much more. I filed for child support after years of not having financial assistance from the absent parent. I was completely clueless having to be in court over the phone for each date. I would’ve lost my case if I hadn’t found Kim. Not only was she fearless in the courtroom but she also gave me my fighting strength back. It was personal to me and made me realize all I had missed out on giving my child. There isn’t a better Attorney in the NY/NJ area than her. Donna at the office was also extremely helpful to me after I was served from another state from the same absent parents of visitation/custody lawsuit. She took the time to answer my questions and when she didn’t know the answer, she got in touch with Kim who once again told me what to do. I can’t thank them enough for all they’ve done for me and my child. Look no further, there isn’t anyone better.

Unfortunately I have been divorced twice and over the years was represented by 4 different attorneys. Kim, by far, was over and above the others that I had. She was my only attorney for my 2nd divorce and I cannot express how well spent the money was. She knows the laws and TRULY cares for her clients and does not back down. She is strong and vocal when she needs to be and laid back as well. She follows up on things and keeps in touch with you. She takes the time to explain everything to you and goes out of her way to try and right any wrongs. The confidence and trust I have in her to do whats right by me is immeasurable. I was completely at ease with her by my side and you cannot put a value on that! I highly recommend Kim to anyone looking for a competent, aggressive, highly intelligent attorney that represents her clients to the utmost of her abilities! BTW, I know with such praise you might think Im related to her but Im not! Shes actually a wonderful attorney!

I knew I needed a bad ass lawyer in my tough divorce/custody case. Also one who was certified in New York and New Jersey. When I met with Kim, I knew she was the one. Ms. Rayner provided fierce advocacy for my position in a contentious divorce case. While we eventually proposed and accepted a settlement, we had begun trial proceedings and it was readily apparent that the other side was completely overwhelmed by her. If I could make one criticism of Ms. Rayner's work for me, it is only that she be more attentive to her clients' need to communicate and discuss relevant issues; she was often too busy to communicate outside of court meetings.
