Laura Marie Catina

Laura is the founder and principal of the firm. After seventeen years as a litigator with both a large international law firm and smaller boutique law firms, she decided to make her own vision of what a law firm should be a reality. Laura wants to serve her clients and build a practice based on a foundation of trust. Clients can trust she will always be available to provide advice and counsel and that her legal advice will be second to none.

Laura's practice includes the handling of litigation disputes, transactional matters and matters pending in the appellate courts. She has represented both individuals and entities in all aspects of business disputes, including contracts, partnership and member disputes, and employment litigation, including class action defense. Laura also handles transactional matters such as the review and creation of contracts, employee handbooks and other legal documents for her clients.

Laura advocates on behalf of her clients in New York state and federal courts, including bankruptcy court, New Jersey state courts, arbitrations and mediations, in complex commercial and employment disputes. Laura handles litigation from inception through trial and appeal and has argued several appeals in the New York appellate divisions.

Laura also guides clients on a variety of employment law related issues, including preventative counseling and guidance on compliance with state and federal law requirements. For example, Laura counsels her clients on matters such as compliance with wage and hour laws and regulations, restrictive covenants and trade secrets, employment policies and procedures, employment agreements and other related issues.

Laura serves as a member of the board of directors and is the treasurer of the Rockland County Bar Association. She also serves on the Rockland County Bar Association Judiciary Review and Screening Committee, Grievance Committee and Memorials Committee
