An open letter to potential clients of the Acocella Law Group

I wanted to write this letter to tell you of my experience with the Acocella Law Group and, in particular, their Senior Debt Analyst, Daniel G. I have lived in my home in Chicago for many years with my wife. Last year she took ill unexpectedly and passed away. It took both of our incomes to make t...he mortgage payment so when she died, I fell behind on the mortgage. I tried but eventually the mortgage company foreclosed and my home was sold at auction. When I received an eviction notice from the government agency, Fannie Mae, that owned my mortgage, I made one last desperate attempt to stay in my home and I contacted the Acocella Law Group through their website. That's where I became acquainted with Mr. Daniel G. Dan explained to me that I may have waited too long. He explained to me that I no longer owned my home so getting a mortgage modification, which is what the Acocella Law Firm specializes in, would be impossible but that he would see what he could do. His motto is that there is always a solution if you try. First he contacted the law firm that represents Fannie Mae and tried for two weeks to negotiate a redemption so I could get my home back and reinstate the old mortgage. I now had a better job and could afford the old payment. The mortgage holder said no. Then Dan contacted the real estate broker that was selling my home for Fannie Mae and tried to get them to sell me my home back. They said no. Then Dan tried to get Fannie Mae to rent me the home so I could continue to live in the home that I loved so much. They refused. Dan was so angry with Fannie Mae and felt that they were dealing with me unfairly that he helped me to contact my Alderman and Congressman to see if they would intercede with Fannie Mae. They said they couldn’t do anything. As a final attempt, Dan helped me negotiate a “cash for keys” arrangement where I could live in the home for a few weeks, the eviction would be put on hold until I could find a place to live, and they would give me a few thousand dollars to help me move. Dan even asked me to stay in touch after I moved, as he put it, to make sure that I landed on my feet. For all his efforts, Dan never charged me a dime. In fact, he never even asked me for money. How many law firms do you know would show such compassion and caring? If they worked this hard for me for free, imagine what they could do for you as a paying client! I can’t say enough about Dan and the Acocella Law Group. I would recommend them to help anyone with their mortgage. If you want to contact me to verify this story, I have authorized Dan to release my contact information to those potential clients in doubt.
