I went to Acocella law in hopes that they would help me with a loan modification after I had spent hundreds of dollars and many documents sent to their firm to reconcile my mortgage with my mortgage co for over a year I paid them only to find out that they could not help me anymore due to lack of inc...ome my situation had changed I lost my job which changed my income. I was employed when I reached out to Acocela Law group this processed started 17 months ago and now I am in dire straits. I now have to file bankruptcy to try to save my house. I would not recommend Acocella law group to anyone in a similar position. It saddens me to think that I spent all this money with Acocela law GRP when I could of been paying my mortgage.

Hired 9 mo ago. was told "home modification, that's what we do. take about 1-3 months, sometimes 4-6. most likely get a reduced rate (2%), deferred principle, with tons of customer support. "WeGotYourBack!" I've had the unlucky pleasure to be handed around to 6 different people which say,"I don't... have your file in front of me" or "I'll get right back to you.". 1-2 weeks later they might call you back. phones are usually busy or never answered. have gotten the same unacceptable offer twice (increased %rate& 10years added on). but hey, they sure take your money....lame. I'll keep you up-to-dated.

I hired the Acocella Law Group to represent me in a loan modification to prevent a foreclosure with Chase bank. I was assured at that time by one of their Relationship Managers that I had nothing to worry about and they would make sure that a loan modification would be granted. After nine months and ...some $4,500 plus in payments to Acocella I did get my modification but unfortunately it was at a higher monthly payment. That was four months ago. Needless to say I was not pleased and was told that the Acocella Law Group did get me a modification and since we did I would have to re-apply and owe another $4,500. For the past four months they have promised to address my issues but every telephone contact with a representative that was scheduled they broke. I strongly feel that there should be some settlement to help me retrieve back most of my costs. I would not recommend them to anyone applying for a loan modification.
