I met with two lawyers before Mr.Eiges. They both said I had a difficult case, but not him. I went to Mr. Eiges and he took the time to explain my options (this was the consultation and he was already planning a strategy for my case! ) Before every court date I would receive a call, he would go over... what I should expect and strategize. I walked in court knowing that he knew what mattered to me most and would speak on my behalf. His paralegals informed me of documents sent and received by the court, when summons was served and emailed/mailed documents to me for my records.I never felt detached from what was going on. As a busy single mom that helped a lot so I could focus on what matters-quality unbroken time. In the end, I got what I fought for- Divorce/Custody and Child Support. I am so grateful

After interviewing 3 attorneys and going nowhere, I finally consulted and retained Ken Eiges on the same day I first met with. He has an exceptional listening quality and takes notes. I am one to ask in depth questions, which the 3 attorneys, whom I had consulted with, found to be challenging; but... NOT Ken. He answered all of my concerns. "No one knows your story better than you the client", Ken commented "while you explain, I will carefully listen and take notes and then we can discuss, is that OK? There and then, I knew he's the right attorney for me. During my divorce, Ken and his Partner made themselves available. Their very professional staff recognized me as soon as I called. My calls were returned within 24 hours and when Ken was unavailable, I received calls from his office--letting me know that my calls will be returned and they were indeed returned. Even when the attorney for my husband displayed temper and unruly behavior, Ken would remind us that the parties did not hire the two attorneys to add unpleasantness to their divorce but to work in the best interest of each client, and serve the best interest of our children. Ken is an exceptional negotiator as well as a trial attorney. With all the finance involved, my divorce was not easy! When my divorce was concluded, my ex-husband commented to me, what a decent and respectful attorney Ken Eiges is. Ken is man of integrity.

Daniele's review from 12/19/15 sums up my entire experience to the letter. I also hired Ken to represent me in my case. I too am unable to recommend his services as I feel he was distracted. In all fairness he did not physically represent me due to the scheduling of my hearing dates and other cases h...e was working on, but he did assure me that his associates work for him and promised they would keep him completely informed. For the first hearing I had one associate who did a reasonable job, yet she left the firm afterwards. Ken assigned me another associate who had to be caught up on a case that was already in progress. Ken did not follow through on any of his promises made during consultation. It got to a point of Ken advising me to accept reality even though no fight was put up. Unfortunately I was able to accomplish more representing myself in following hearings. If you still choose to hire Ken I advise you to watch his level of interest, not during consultation, but during the initial stages of your process. If he seems distracted you might want to consider your options!

I am extremely satisfied with the representation Eiges & Orgel provided me in my divorce case. Ken Eiges handled my case. I always felt that he listened to what I had to say and was always honest with me. He told me the things that could go wrong and the things that could go right. He seemed ...to know everyone in court and they knew him. He’s not the type of lawyer who is always screaming and arguing but in his own way he was able to get me what I needed. He negotiated an agreement for me which I was very happy with. His fees were reasonable compared to what my husband paid and I feel that I got a better deal than my husband. Sometimes it would take a day to get a phone call back but he always did return my phone calls. I would highly recommend Mr. Eiges as an attorney in a divorce case.

This review of Mr. Eiges’s professional services, solicited by him with a letter dated 11/23/2015, is solely my personal opinion. It accounts for my experience only, and might not be representative of the typical level of service provided by Mr. Eiges to other clients. I am very dissatisfied with... the services provided to me by Mr. Eiges. I can not recommend him and, in retrospect, I wish I had sought legal representation elsewhere. Should legal needs arise again, I will make sure I won't ever hire him again. I feel he did not represent my interests adequately. I felt that my adversary was represented better and more aggressively. In my opinion, Mr. Eiges was too eager to meet my adversary’s demands than to protect my interests. I felt that he was distracted, had little interest in my case, had insufficient attention to detail, poor or no note-taking and bad memory for case details. I felt I was left alone taking all the strategic decisions, despite having no experience. I found him difficult to reach, and his communications late and rushed. He was far less attentive to deadlines and time-sensitive matters than I wanted him to be. I urged him numerous times to improve his performance, to no avail. I also find inexcusable that he failed to keep me abreast of the case's developments, especially its conclusion, despite calls and requests. Eventually I had to hire an independent party to retrieve the status of my proceedings. In my view, Mr. Eiges's behavior caused me unnecessary frustration and anxiety at the time of my life in which I was the most vulnerable. Otherwise, he is honest and balanced, and he has always been polite and courteous with me. The staff he employs seems qualified, efficient, compassionate and caring. I loved every interaction with them and I regret having to report negatively on their employer.
