Ken Eiges did ONE thing for me: He took my money.

Ineffective, wet noodle, did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for me. I am 100% positive I could've gotten a better deal without him. He didn't advocate for me, didn't fight for me, didn't counsel me. Ken was representing me in a child support case, where I was paying an inflated amount that I couldn't afford.... The corp counsel made him an offer, which he "arbitrated" a whopping 10% off of! He came out of the meeting, not defending me, his client, but telling me that the corp counsel thought I was a "bad person"! If I were defending him, I would have fought back with a similar accusation towards the mother. Ken did NOTHING for me. After we settled for this outrageous inflated sum, he neglected to tell me that I could appeal it! Did not even mention this fact. I found out much later from a free legal clinic, but it was too late to appeal. To make matters worse, after seeing how unhappy I was, he left me with "call me when he (your son) turns 18". When I contacted him recently, he asked for a HUGE retainer, 3x as big as the first one. Lazy, useless, the kind of lawyer that gives lawyers' a bad name.

While we never want anyone to be unhappy with our service, and we strive to deliver impeccable representation, it should be shared here that where a case involves a special needs child, some amount of support must be paid. Having taken hundreds of cases to trial, going to trial would have been an option, however an amount was negotiated which was less than the client was supposed to pay. Presented with the negotiation the client’s choice was to agree, without any pressure beyond the understanding that a lost trial could result in higher support payments. While we are sorry to hear of this displeasure, we also want to clear the air on the circumstances surrounding this scenario.

You will not be disappointed!

I met with two lawyers before Mr.Eiges. They both said I had a difficult case, but not him. I went to Mr. Eiges and he took the time to explain my options (this was the consultation and he was already planning a strategy for my case! ) Before every court date I would receive a call, he would go over... what I should expect and strategize. I walked in court knowing that he knew what mattered to me most and would speak on my behalf. His paralegals informed me of documents sent and received by the court, when summons was served and emailed/mailed documents to me for my records.I never felt detached from what was going on. As a busy single mom that helped a lot so I could focus on what matters-quality unbroken time. In the end, I got what I fought for- Divorce/Custody and Child Support. I am so grateful

This solely my opinion. My Eiges is wonderful person and lawyer. He did everything in his power to complete my case with the sole purpose of saving me as much money as possible and making sure I would be happy with the outcome. There was a day I was really upset and Mr Eiges bought my mother and I co...ffee and didn't charge me for it on my bill, nor did he charge me for the extra time spent drinking the coffee and discussing my case. He is a lawyer that cares about his clients and knows the limits of what the law allows. I'm glad I had him on my side (even though I was always angry, and upset, and yelling all the time). And, although he does need a reminder from time to time, I would obtain his services again. FOR THE MEN - Be prepared, the Family court and Supreme court system are usually on the mother's side. If you can not prove she's crazy, a danger to the kids and her self or depressed, you've lost. Doesn't matter who your lawyer is. Mr Eiges will help you finish the case as fast as possible and will try his best to stay with in budget. My case was almost 2 years. I know it's hard (Trust me I know), but, kids grow up (It took me 2 years to realize that). Be the best dad you can be. Don't be a dead beat. As they grow, enforce it in their minds that you will always be there for them and that you are only a phone call away. Paying child support and living expenses will become difficult, but, you can get a divorce without having to pay you ex every 3 years (Mr. Eiges did everything in his power for this to happen). I gave up a few freedoms, but, it will be well worth it in the long run and my boys know who I am and how much I love me. TIP: Best advice I can give. Try to avoid taking it to trial. Huge savings if you can. Roughly $15K-$30K. Stay in family court. Finish it fast and move on.

Extremely happy with the outcome of my case

Divorce is a horrible and stressful thing to go through, and the process can be very scary and overwhelming if you don't have the right representation. Ken Eiges was the "right representation". After our first phone conversation, I knew that he was the lawyer I wanted to handle my case. He immediat...ely gained my complete trust, and I was comfortable knowing that he would get the results that I was looking for. During the process, he was there for me. He promptly returned phone calls and emails...I felt as though he really cared. At the beginning of the divorce, Ken told me where I would be at the end of the process - and he was right. I was able to keep my home and my restaurant, but most importantly, he made sure that my children would be taken care of through college. Ken ended up becoming a good friend of the family, and even attended my wedding when I remarried. I would highly recommend Ken Eiges at Eiges & Eiges, P.C. to anyone looking for a divorce attorney.
