A Philadelphia native, Mr. Lento earned his bachelor's degree in political science and business from Villanova University before earning his juris doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law. He takes great pride in his acceptance into the United States Marine Corps Officer Candidates School and in working full-time while completing his law degree. Entering the legal field immediately upon graduation, he began practicing in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and later New York. Having learned what it takes to win from a legend among Philadelphia criminal defense attorneys, Mr. Lento takes his clients' concerns personally. He knows success is hard-fought, and he is only satisfied when his client is satisfied.

In family law, Mr. Lento brings a decade of experience working for one of the nation's busiest family courts. He has fought in the trenches for thousands of clients in matters closest to the heart, including child custody, visitation, relocation, protection from abuse (PFA), restraining orders, support, divorce, and pre/post-nuptial agreements. He secures successful outcomes through collaborative efforts and relentless litigation when necessary.

Mr. Lento's professional background includes past work with the School District of Philadelphia and with at-risk youth for the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania. He has served as Government Counsel to Galloway Township, New Jersey, and as City Solicitor and Government Counsel for the Borough of Penns Grove, New Jersey. Additionally, he presided over civil actions as a certified arbitrator for both the First and Eleventh Judicial Districts of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and Delaware Counties.

He is an active, respected member of the legal community, maintaining past and present memberships in the American Bar Association (Criminal Justice and Family Law Sections), National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), National College for DUI Defense (NCDD), NORML, and numerous state and county bar associations across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. He is also a founding member of the Philadelphia Criminal Law American Inn of Court.
