Tsui H. Yee

We met Tsui in late 2008 when my wife was detained by the US Border Patrol in Upstate New York and Tsui has been representing us since. My wife was detained and sent back to her native country under Tsui’s advisement to accept a voluntary departure rather than deportation. We had been living apart fo...r years and went thru so much during this difficult period and Tsui has always been very supportive. She is very knowledgeable and is extremely helpful. Tsui handled our case from day one from the detainment to bond hearing to the filing of the waiver and an approval. It took awhile but ultimately my wife's I-601 waiver was approved. My wife is on her way to the United States and she will receive her green card very soon after she enters the United States. Tsui is a great and a very compassionate attorney. Tsui has been helping us since 2008 and during that time she underwent couple changes in her organization and she ultimately joined Guerrero and Yee, LLP. My immigration lawyer was Tsui H.Yee who did a tremendous amount of work to get my case approved. Tsui is an 'angel' lawyer. In March 2011, I went to see a Chinese lawyer in Flushing, NY. He w...as very bad - tried to induce me to pay him, but once I paid him to perform legal work, he claimed that I only paid him a consultation fee and that I needed to pay him more. He was such a terrible lawyer, that I was ashamed that he was Chinese and taking advantage of Chinese clients. In May 2011, I met with Tsui to discuss my case. Tsui helped me to apply for a green card, and encouraged me throughout the process. Ten months after my case was filed, I received a work permit. Fifteen months later, I received my ten-year green card. Tsui is honest and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in immigration law. She is very responsive, and always answered all of my questions by e-mail and telephone. She is a trusted professional, is excellent at communication with clients, and I feel as if she is my friend. My case involved emotional abuse; I was married for eight years to a very controlling spouse, and I was trapped in marriage that was dysfunctional and broken. Applying for a green card as a battered spouse involves a certain degree of difficulty. Tsui kept me informed about each stage of the case.
