Someone once told me that going through the immigration required a lot of faith. The reality is, the process is just brutal. I had gone through several immigration lawyers in three different states to help me with a work petition case and then a family petition case gone wrong. Desperation is a good ...word to describe that period of confusion, information overload, distrust and low self-esteem. (Yes, you are subjected to a form of bullying and battering by well-meaning legal and para-legal beings when they dismiss your questions with no effort to explain at all). We met Tsui in late 2008 when my wife was detained by the US Border Patrol in Upstate New York and Tsui has been representing us since. My wife was detained and sent back to her native country under Tsui’s advisement to accept a voluntary departure rather than deportation.
