Be Very Cautious

I contacted Jean-Paul/John along with 9 other attorneys via e-mail to set up an initial calls, understand the possibility of representation, etc. Jean-Paul/John and I spoke on my train ride home. The call lasted 15-20 minutes with no discussion about costs for this call which I would have declined. H...e also mentioned during the call he was just opening my file to take a quick look for the first time. He offered to write up my response so I can print it out and mail it out myself, which I also declined. 1 week later I was charged for 5.2 hours of work. He charged me 3 hours for a phone call which was 20 minutes. He charged me for writing up a response which I declined immediately during the phone call. He also charged me for the research he did on my case which did not happen because he had just opened up my case file during our 20 minute call. None of the 9 other attorneys I reached out to did what Jean-Paul/John did.

Client

This lawyer is not experienced with tenant-and-landlord eviction, Not knowledgeable, dishonest and not professional. He messed up the notices and petitions, and the package was not returned and dismissed by the court. the worst.

Would Not Recommend

I was not happy with the service provided by Jean-Paul Cass relating to my landlord-tenant issue. My opinion of him is that he is not knowledgable or professional on the issues.

Excellent Lawyer with extensive knowledge, understanding and compassion n

I spoke to several lawyers before JP, but I had trouble explaining my case. But with JP- he understood my civil case against my co-op residence in less than 5mins of our call, and wrote me a prompt demand letter same day which resulted in my matter being resolved within one day.

Very Nice Work

I was very impressed with J.P.'s legal skills and poise. He was able to work us through a complex issue under pressure with grace and ease. He was also able to distill difficult technological and legal issues and explain them in layman's terms, which is always helpful to us non-lawyers.
