Eric could predict their moves and with his thorough, knowledgeable (case law) and creative writing skills, he could circumvent Goliath, on every turn. We had an uphill battle against the "arbitrary & capricious" ruling found in most, if not all, long term disability policies. Eric could convince the Judge that we were entitled to depositions and records of the insurance companies adjusters and physicians; unheard of. Thereafter, Eric could convince the insurance company that an early resolution was in the best interest of all; we avoided heavy trial costs, in a corporate favorable Federal Court.
