Biography
James D. Henning is an associate in the firm’s Civil Rights Violations and Wrongful Convictions Department. As the grandson of both a District Attorney and an Assistant Chief of NYPD Homicide Detectives (Manhattan South), James has always been drawn to criminal justice. James has experience in both trial level criminal defense and post-conviction litigation throughout the New York area. Since his admission to the bar, James’ work has consistently involved assisting individuals with claims of wrongful conviction and/or “actual innocence.”
