Complex Civil and Criminal Litigation and Cannabis Industry Advisor
Over more than two decades, David has acquired an extensive background in complex civil and criminal litigation and matters related to the cannabis industry. He has viewed the justice system from nearly every vantage point. His practice has a concentration in civil and criminal R.I.C.O. cases, appellate and post-conviction matters including Presidential pardons, First Amendment issues, snf employment discrimination claims. David served as Of Counsel to the late Michael Kennedy, Esq., a nationally renowned criminal defense attorney and civil rights advocate for more than 40 years. David spent more than a decade as Counsel to High Times Magazine and is both the Executive and Legal Director of Empire State NORML and a Co-Founder and President of the New York City Cannabis Industry Association () and Vice President of the Hudson Valley Cannabis Industry Association (). David was recently named a Legal Advisor to the Last Prisoner Project seeking clemency for victims and prisoners of the war on drugs.
David is a member of the state and federal bars of New York, New Jersey, and Maryland, and is admitted to the United States Supreme Court as well as the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
