Biography
Over more than three decades of legal practice I have represented clients from all over the world - the former Soviet Union, Germany, France, UK, Belgium, Argentina, Mexico, India, China, Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, and, I guess, a few more.
Among my clients are outstanding actors and artists, writers and scientists, businessmen, and athletes including Olympic, World, and European champions.
I have represented famous dissidents in their requests for asylum in the United States. But I represent not only celebrities. The majority of my clients are, of course, ordinary people who wish to immigrate to the United States either through their relations or through offer of employment.
I think the Oath of Hippocrates should be applied to attorneys as well.
We have three offices - in Manhatta, in Brooklyn, and in Westport, Connecticut. .
I don't pretend to know everything. I don't claim I am always right. Can I make a mistake? Yes. But an honest mistake. Many of my clients have become my friends, some - close friends. I dont like to cut corners and my clients appreciate it.
Beleive it or not, I have never been late for a single appointment or court hearing. If a client is scheduled to meet with me in my office at 4 PM s/he will be seen by me at 4 PM., not a second later. We are not a department store, we are a boutique. There is no hurry, you always have enough time to discuss your situation with me or with my partners.
All my clients have access to me literally around the clock. And none of them has abused this privilege. No, one did. He is no longer my client.
Now over half of all consultations with me are done via Skype.
I have authored two books - Dura Lex (2010) and The Bill of Rights (2018).
