At first I was hesitant to reach out to a law firm for advice, but I am glad that I did contact Cary Kane LLP law firm and was introduced to Tony Consiglio. My first meeting with Tony was an in-person two-hour consultation, where he reviewed a draft of my separation agreement. He was very thorough an...d provided me with much needed legal advice and reassurances, which helped me to adjust my personal perspective about my situation at the time. At the time of the first meeting, it didn't seem necessary to have legal representation but it still was a long road from having a draft of the separation agreement to getting a fully-executed one. As the weeks dragged on with tedious back-and-forth, I decided to have Tony represent me to negotiate the terms of the agreement. It was the best thing I could have done to protect my interests, I no longer had to deal with the other party directly, and my stress levels went down. In total the entire process took about three months to fully complete, and it was money well spent. The costs were appropriate, Tony kept me up-to-date, and in the end I walked away with a legally-vetted separation agreement that I felt was fair and protected my best interests. I had spared myself months of misery by having legal representation rather than dealing with the matter myself, and I am not sure that I would have been able to bring the matter to a satisfactory conclusion on my own. I would recommend Tony without reservation, and would encourage anyone in a similar situation as mine to start with at least a consultation.
