I first met Leah a couple of years ago and was not sure what to expect. As hectic as her schedule is, she always seemed to find time to answer questions and discuss how to proceed going forward. If she did not have an answer to a question, she was sure to research and get an answer in a timely fash...ion. Leah Ross is a fact finder extraprdinaire. She is a straight shooter and tells you like it is. I had the priviledge of having Leah as an attorney in two matters. Divorce is hard enough when parties are unable to reach an agreement. Leah is professional, competent, confident and maintains her composure in the courtroom. I can say with confidence that she has the knowledge and ambition to persevere in helping to achieve what is in the best interest of her clients. My first impression was "a diamond in the rough". Throughout her representation, I came to think of her as a gem that I was fortunate enough to have for an attorney. Leah was awesome. I heard all kinds of terrible things from friends about their lawyers. How they never returned calls or would not responded to emails. How they would just cut and paste documents with the wrong names or contain facts that did not pertain to their case. That was not my experience at ...all. Leah was always on point. She always had my best interests in mind. We discussed strategies and she was always accessible. I even had her personal cell phone number. We spoke evenings and on the weekends. She was very sensitive to the fact that I worked as well. Leah was sharp, and very aggressive. I felt that she and everyone else in the firm of Johnson and Cohen treated me as a person, not just another client. I unfortunately went through a divorce, there are no winners in any divorce case, but I felt I was well represented and not taken advantage of by opposing council.
