Leah Ross is an excellent attorney

Divorce is a confusing, complicated, emotional, and expensive experience. My attorney, Leah Ross, helped me navigate it all. As a litigator, Leah is a quick thinker. She arrives for Court with a strategy in mind, already researched and vetted. If the court throws a curve ball, Leah can redirect q...uickly. A true counselor, Leah always takes the time to be sure that I understand the legal terms and jargon in each Court action. Leah is a true advocate. She fought for me with enormous zeal! She has energy and spunk. Leah made me feel that my case was at the top of her 'to do' list. She responded to emails quickly and she completed my motions in a timely fashion. Finally, Leah managed to make me laugh! Divorce is so painful. Court is even more painful! However Leah always seemed to find a way to lighten the dark days. She has an incredibly sunny disposition that is contagious. Leah is fantastic attorney. I highly recommend her.

Bright, creative, capable, empathic, and compassionate...

After failed mediation, collaboration and several years of litigation in a highly contentious action, Ms. Ross facilitated a settlement that had been previously deemed impossible. Her strength of character and compassion, was not only a welcome departure from the callous, indifferent, broken jud...icial system, it was in no small part responsible for the successful conclusion of a fair and equitable settlement. Ms. Ross was able to work past the acrimony, using tremendous empathy and creativity, without comprising on the things that mattered most. I would highly recommend her if you desire an attorney who is bright, creative, capable, empathic, and compassionate; yet be able to stand-up for what is most important to you.

success in the divorce agreement , charm, knowledge and incredible strength

For several years Leah handled my divorce. What an incredible mix of knowledge and pragmatic intelligent decisions and street smarts! She navigated the whole conflict with a smile and charm. She stood at the difficult arguments with incredible strenght and clarity. She did not miss a detail and got... into the case with attention of every posible twist and implications to my future. She managed to find the way to end the ordeal in spite of all the obstacles and the disfavorable conditions we were put initially. She never stopped, never rested, never gave up and most important she held me through the difficult exahusting and diminishing process of divorce. Perhaps more important than anything is that she really cares and loves what she does. She has passion for justice and to do the right thing. She has empathy and fairness and will stand for what she things is right. She never gives up. From the personality aspect: she is funny, easy to relate to, incredibly kind and sweet. She relates to people and finds the way to approach and communicate, but underneath that layer of kindness her strength and resolve is just magnificent. Her personality helped to make the oposition comfortable and trust to the resolution of the case with a great decision that defeated all the unreasonable requests that were done by the other part. I strongly recommend her and her firm. They never gave up and they treat me as family with repects , kindness and i felt they did really care to help me. So they did!

An Excellent Attorney

Leah Ross is an excellent attorney. She successfully defended me against a vindictive ex-spouse which resulted in dismissal of the accusations, and the court compelling him to pay much of my attorney fees. I sincerely appreciate her as a bright, highly responsive professional who meticulously prepa...red the numerous papers demanded by the court. Additionally, she was thoroughly prepared for appearance at court. Leah is an asset to the Law Firm of Johnson & Cohen; I give her 5 stars in all categories

Relationship: Co-worker

"Rarely does an attorney, who is concomitantly professional, intellectually curious, hardworking, down-to-earth, and passionate about the serving each client she encounters, come along. Leah Ross is that attorney. During my tenure as a domestic violence prosecutor at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, I had the great privilege to work with Ms. Ross. Each year, Ms. Ross consistently garnered successful trial results, displayed professionalism and sympathy with victims and witnesses, and demonstrated the utmost dedication to her craft. Despite handling an extremely heavy caseload, containing cases ranging from assault to rape to attempted murder, Ms. Ross applied the same attention to each case, as if it were her only. She is a smart, compassionate, and dedicated trial attorney. I wholeheartedly endorse her."
