Supportive but fierce legal professional

Leah was a savior during my post-marital negotiations. She demonstrated concern for my issues and a full understanding of all the legal aspects of the case. Leah was passionate about defending my rights even when I was ready to give up. She was also highly responsive and patient. If you need a skil...led attorney to defend your legal position but also treat you like a human being, call Leah.

Amazing job!

Leah has been an amazing attorney through the entire process of an extremely difficult post divorce enforcement proceeding. She knew my case & history better than I did at times. She was extremely honest, professional, responsive and when the time came she was like a mother lion protecting her young.... There is not enough room here to say all I'd like to so in short Leah is one of the best lawyers out there! Thank you for all you've done and continue to do.

Leah Ross is an excellent attorney

Divorce is a confusing, complicated, emotional, and expensive experience. My attorney, Leah Ross, helped me navigate it all. As a litigator, Leah is a quick thinker. She arrives for Court with a strategy in mind, already researched and vetted. If the court throws a curve ball, Leah can redirect q...uickly. A true counselor, Leah always takes the time to be sure that I understand the legal terms and jargon in each Court action. Leah is a true advocate. She fought for me with enormous zeal! She has energy and spunk. Leah made me feel that my case was at the top of her 'to do' list. She responded to emails quickly and she completed my motions in a timely fashion. Finally, Leah managed to make me laugh! Divorce is so painful. Court is even more painful! However Leah always seemed to find a way to lighten the dark days. She has an incredibly sunny disposition that is contagious. Leah is fantastic attorney. I highly recommend her.

Articulate, Confident, Knowledgeable and Personable = Leah Ross, Esq.

I first met Leah a couple of years ago and was not sure what to expect. As hectic as her schedule is, she always seemed to find time to answer questions and discuss how to proceed going forward. If she did not have an answer to a question, she was sure to research and get an answer in a timely fash...ion. Leah Ross is a fact finder extraprdinaire. She is a straight shooter and tells you like it is. I had the priviledge of having Leah as an attorney in two matters. Divorce is hard enough when parties are unable to reach an agreement. Leah is professional, competent, confident and maintains her composure in the courtroom. I can say with confidence that she has the knowledge and ambition to persevere in helping to achieve what is in the best interest of her clients. My first impression was "a diamond in the rough". Throughout her representation, I came to think of her as a gem that I was fortunate enough to have for an attorney. I highly recommend Leah Ross to anyone who is seeking an attorney that is truly going to represent the best interest of her client.

Truly professional and exceptional attorney

I was lucky enough to secure Leah as soon as I hired Johnson and Cohen to represent me in a nasty, contentious divorce. I was divorcing an attorney, who was mean and only wanted to hurt me, so I knew that I had to hire the best representation possible in order to stay one step ahead of whatever he w...ould be throwing my way. Well, there were a lot of curve balls. Not once did Leah even blink. Always on the offensive, she would say "Ok, so we are going to do this….. Do you understand why?" Sometimes I would understand and sometimes I wouldn't. If I didn't, she always had the time to explain everything to me in a way that made sense yet was never demeaning. I especially loved when she took charge of his financial deposition. There was no stone left unturned. Thorough, tough, honest, approachable, available, smart, unflappable and tenacious. Don't let her pretty face fool you. This is one resilient attorney. And you want her on your side.

Litigation lawyer | Mar 28

Relationship: Co-worker

"Rarely does an attorney, who is concomitantly professional, intellectually curious, hardworking, down-to-earth, and passionate about the serving each client she encounters, come along. Leah Ross is that attorney. During my tenure as a domestic violence prosecutor at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, I had the great privilege to work with Ms. Ross. Each year, Ms. Ross consistently garnered successful trial results, displayed professionalism and sympathy with victims and witnesses, and demonstrated the utmost dedication to her craft. Despite handling an extremely heavy caseload, containing cases ranging from assault to rape to attempted murder, Ms. Ross applied the same attention to each case, as if it were her only. She is a smart, compassionate, and dedicated trial attorney. I wholeheartedly endorse her."
