Biography
Nicole S. Junior, Esq., earned her Bachelor of Arts with High Honors from Smith College, where she double-majored in Afro-American Studies and Sociology. After graduating from Smith, Nicole went on to earn her Master’s in Education from Pace University and her Juris Doctorate from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University. Upon graduating from Temple Law, Nicole joined the Kings County District Attorney’s Office where, as an Assistant District Attorney, she prosecuted hundreds of Domestic Violence crimes ranging from attempted assault to attempted murder in Brooklyn, New York. Today, Nicole teaches evidence and trial advocacy at Fordham University and continues to serve the public interest as an attorney at the New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board, where she prosecutes members of the New York City Police Department for misconduct and conducts agency-wide diversity training regarding LGBTQ complainants. Nicole is an activist, trial attorney, writer, and lecturer recognized for intimate partner survivor and LGBTQ advocacy.
