Leah E. Ross

I truly hope you never find yourself in a position where you need a custody lawyer, but if you do, I can't recommend Leah Ross highly enough! She and her firm carried me through the most complicated, messy time in my life, when I honestly just could not see the other side of it. Leah Ross is so tou...gh and smart, and so incredibly knowledgeable in her field. She has the perfect balance of professionalism and compassion - definitely a no-nonsense attorney who knows how to command a room, but who also was there for me every time I was overwhelmed with uncertainty, fear, the feeling of wanting to just throw in the towel. My case was a total roller coaster, and she expertly rode the waves of it, keeping me on track and helping me keep perspective on the bigger picture, always able to figure out a new strategy or change course if we needed to. Just having her by my side put me at ease when truly nothing and no one else could. In the courtroom, I watched her in awe. Thankfully we avoided trial, but after countless court appearances, I joked with her that the only reason I would've wanted a trial was to really see her in action! I am so relieved to finally be on the other side of my situation, and with a favorable result, which honestly seemed impossible to me when I was deep in it - I absolutely could not have gotten here without Leah.

Even with strong opposition from my ex’s attorneys, Leah transformed my extremely complicated circumstances into an advantageous divorce that meets my needs. Not only did she help me understand the legal intricacies with simple language but she was proactive, gave me excellent advice, had a strong s...trategy for moving things forward to a completion and maximized the long term arrangements with my ex and child. She has an excellent instinct for when to dig in her heels and when to compromise. In retrospect, I understood that Leah built in a huge number of future safety nets that other divorce attorneys never even discuss with their clients. Leah is superior to my friends' attorneys and I would be happy go back to her if I ever needed future enforcement.
