On a personal note:

I enjoy my work because I thrive on helping businesses operate, creators create, and individuals live. With every client and case, I encounter new people from all walks of life. It's true that dispute resolution can be tough. But, the promises of removing uncertainty and bringing stability are well worth it. 

The only problems I can't resolve come from my dog, Benny. His litigation strategy is to tantrum until he gets what he wants. I'm sad to say that, to date, he's prevailed in every case. I'm currently working on getting more couch space. Negotiations continue....

An Absolute Beast
I am a landlord in NJ, However, this is not my main income. I own a luxury condo and I rent it out. I hired Tom to represent me in a tenant/landlord case. Tom was very professional right from the beginning of our relationship. One of Tom’s best qualities I noticed was his ability to think ahead. It seemed as though throughout the process Tom always had an answer or a response to whatever game my tenant was trying to play. Until ultimately, at the end, the tenant had no more cards left to play and we got what we were looking for. I don’t know much about the legal system and quite frankly I don’t care to. I own my own successful business. I’m very busy. I am the kind of person who likes to stay in my own lane and let Tom do his job. If you are looking for an attorney that understands the law inside and out and also makes you feel confident throughout the process that he is in your corner, I suggest you retain Tom Major. I would certainly go to war with him any day of the week.

Amazing Experience!
Thomas and his team represented me in Landlord-Tenant dispute. The entire team is very knowledgeable and responsive. Most of the time Landlord think that they may know enough but there are minor peculiarity that we're likely to miss. Thomas has such in-depth experience and he could think 2 steps ahead. My delinquent tenant tried her best so that I make a mistake but Thomas and his team were by my side and always gave me the right advice and finally my tenant gave in on the day of Eviction.

Landlord/Tenant Dispute
I had a dispute with one of my commercial tenants and Tom represented me . He did a great job discussing and explaining the legal arguments in my case and was able to successfully negotiate the results we were looking for. He was responsive, knowledgeable, confident and easy to work with. I would use him again if needed.

Great service
I had a landlord-tenant dispute and called Mr Thomas for consultation. Considering his experience in handling these issues, I went with him. He was able to handle the case very efficiently. Final results were same as what he promised during his consultation. He was also able to minimize the expenses on my side for the case. I am happy with his service.

Highly recommended.
Tom represented me in a tenant eviction in Jersey City. I reside in Virginia and couldn't deal with handling it myself. I knew this particular tenant would be a problem, but I didn't think she was as crazy as she turned out to be. Completely psychotic! I'm sure I would have lost control and made a larger mess than it already was. Tom not only kept his composure but accomplished the task with proper professionalism and expediency. He was pleasure to work with and worth every penny.

Smart, sharp and fierce!
Tom represented me on a real estate litigation case which reached a favorable settlement within one year. Tom is smart, sharp and fierce. He’s fierce when discussing the case but light-hearted in communications with me, which is a rare combination. But what really sets him apart is that he was refreshingly open to discuss risks and rewards of each step during the process and strategized to our favor even if that means billing less. Over the course of working with Tom, he also gave me valuable advice on Tenant issues that I had to deal with as a Landlord. Great Attorney
Thomas represented me in a landlord/tenant dispute. My landlord was attempting to wrongfully evict me from my apartment because he wanted to remodel the unit to raise the rent to pay for increasing property taxes. Thomas swiftly started to file actions against him, etc. In the end, it was settled out of court and I got to stay in my apartment. I highly recommend Thomas to represent tenants in LL/T disputes

Outstanding!
There is no better word for Thomas than OUTSTANDING! Intelligent, knowledgeable, funny (not really a lawyer trait, but it eased the process). I had an issue with someone walking away from a 3 year lease after 1 year. Tom was able to track him down, found out everything about him, deftly tussled with the other attorney and in the end, we walked away with money and the win. I also had another separate legal situation occur at the same time that Tom was able to take care of with quickly and flawlessly. Two wins for the price of one! Highly recommended! Thanks Tom!

TOP NOTCH ATTORNEY
If I could give Tom 10 stars I would!!! Best all around. Superstar attorney in my book. Removing delinquent and nuisance tenants in Hudson County is by far one of the most harrowing and difficult experiences a Landlord can have (as tenants seem to have far greater rights than Landlords in this specific county). Tom confidently and efficiently helped me through this process and as a negotiator, WOW, just WOW. Highly recommend him as an attorney and will continue to use him in the future should the need arise.

Excellent Attorney
Tom is smart, ethical, and professional and is a rare find now a days. Recently Tom represented me in a real estate sale dispute. We discussed approximate budget estimate with possible outcome scenarios. The opposite party himself is an attorney and has a law firm. I am very happy that we are able to close this issue under budget with an outcome that is preferred and is right. I am grateful to Tom for this. I am a small apartment owner and Tom also represented me multiple times in Landlord/tenant matters over a period of 2 years. We are successful in sticking to our bottom line and removing non rent paying tenants from the building. Now the place is stable with tenants paying rent on time. He also uses online tools for billing and documentation. This also helped me to simplify the process and be more productive, flexible, and easy to work with. His billing is reasonable. I will continue to retain Tom and take advise for any real estate issues.
