Biography
I represent clients in disputes involving estates and trusts, family issues, and closely held businesses. I also represent fiduciaries, such as executors, trustees, and agents under power of attorney, and I represent individuals and businesses in both the planning and administration stages. My experience in handling such contested matters enables me to approach estate planning and administration with an eye toward litigation avoidance. My experience also enables me to quickly and efficiently plan, prepare, and execute effective case strategies.
Mindful of the growing costs associated with litigation in general, I seek to create custom and cost-efficient solutions to each matter. Whether through litigation in Surrogate’s or Chancery courts, Tax Court, or alternative dispute resolution, I advocate passionately for the best interests of my clients.
I have handled numerous litigated and non-litigated family and business disputes in New Jersey involving estates, trusts, and guardianships. I have represented both beneficiaries and fiduciaries (both corporate and individual) in matters involving estate, trust, and guardianship administrations. My work also involves issues of tax law including litigating tax disputes in New Jersey and federal courts.
