Estate Planning for young Children
Jun 10, 2014OUTCOME: Resolved Successfully
Clients were a young married couple with several young children, all under the age of 8. They had no will, no trust, and no advance directives. If something were to happen to them, nothing was in place ... to take care of their children. With a little bit of planning and minimal cost, we gave them the protection they needed. We funded their plan with affordable term life insurance, and named guardians and trustees for the children. We coordinated non-probate assets such as a 401(k) plan, and addressed other issues pertaining to their home, cars, debt, and other family issues.
