Shari B Veisblatt

I hired Shari Veisblatt in May to help me with Post Divorce Alimony issues. My ex husband attempted to drastically reduce, or terminate my Alimony after less of a year after having the Divorce granted.. My original Divorce lawyer was horrible, and unprofessional. He didn't protect my Alimony length o...f time receiving it, or the amount I was to receive, by putting in grey language that my ex decided to use to eliminate my Alimony. He also didn't seem to care about me as a person, and only cared about billable hours, and never listened to my concerns, or really advised me in making the correct decisions on future needs. Shari and I worked as a team, along with another lawyer in her firm Jennifer Iseman. Together we built a solid case that made my ex's case appear flimsy and ridiculous to the two judges who reviewed the court motions, and mediated the terms of the post divorce. The judge in the court appeared to be strongly against the motion to terminate my Alimony after being in a 40 year marriage less than a year since the divorce was granted. He told me, I was poorly represented during my divorce proceedings, and never should have been back in court so soon. Shari was the total opposite of my past experience. The end result was for me to get continued Alimony for the time my ex continues to work, without him being able to bring me back to court again. I highly, and with all my heart recommend Shari Veisblatt and her firm. She is smart, professional, and truly empathetic to her clients needs. If only I had hired her during my difficult divorce process. I would never had had to go back to court, and many other positive things would have gone in my favor. Shari wants to protect her clients. She is a rare breed among any lawyers I have ever dealt with.

I don’t know where to start with this review. Shari is beyond amazing! I have battled with my ex husband for 5 years over my 2 children, one of which is a medically fragile child with cancer. My children have been afraid of their father for many years and he made life very hard for them. I was afraid... for them and I had a very hard time standing up to him. I was watching my children battle anxiety and fear over phone calls and visits. I retained Shari after multiple consultations with multiple attorneys. She is the only attorney that I felt at ease with and felt safe with my children’s future in her hands. She is compassionate, upfront, honest and dedicated. She Doesn’t sugar coat anything and tells it like it is. She went above and beyond and made sure that through my anxiety I knew that she was in mine and my children’s corner. She is a shark and she takes her job very seriously. To say I am grateful is an understatement. Every dollar spent was more than worth it with this team. If you have custody issues or need someone you can trust, look no further. I could never trust anyone more than Shari to defend my children. He whole team, Melissa and Michelle in particular were also extremely helpful and there whenever I needed them. Beyond satisfied client. Thank you, Shari!

Shari and her team were excellent. What started out as a difficult and ugly divorce ended in a settlement agreement. Throughout the entire process, from the first consultation to the finalization after the hearing Shari and Melissa never failed to be honest with me about what to expect as well as... caring and understanding. No promises were made, just honesty. They helped guide me through some very tough decisions. Giving me all possible alternatives and outcomes. All decisions were mine alone to make. They did not pressure me or ever mislead me and are extremely knowledgeable in their field. In closing, I never met either of them in person. I only got to meet Shari through video conference during the hearing. This did not affect the process or outcome in the least. From start to finish the process only took 5 months. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

There aren’t enough words to describe how outstanding Shari is as a custody lawyer, and a person. When you hire a lawyer, you are trusting them with your future, and having Shari manage my case that involved the safety of my daughter allowed me to sleep soundly at night because SHE’s GOT IT. Obtainin...g full custody is no easy feat; through teamwork, strategy, confidence, patience and absolute trust, we achieved that, and then some. I never imagined going to court would actually be fun, yes, I said FUN. It’s because she knew how to handle my case with absolute grace and confidence, we knew we’d achieve what we needed to, and we’d walk out of that court room doing victory dances in heels. I never thought in a million years I’d meet an attorney as passionate as she is about custody cases, and her work, her team’s work exemplifies that. When your lawyer tells you to keep your counsel fees down by not calling and emailing them too much, you know they’re a great one. Shari is nothing short of exemplary!

Shari is the BEST attorney we have ever hired. She was always available no matter what time or day it was. She knows the law and knew what was best for our case. We honestly had so much confidence in her and could lay our heads down at night knowing she was behind us. She is CONFIDENT in what she doe...s, thorough and a tough cookie. She knows her way around a court room and nothing bothers her. She helped us through a few anxious moments during the process. Theres a small percentage of bad reviews on here given to her that I read. One has to remember that not all cases go in your favor. The attorneys can fight as hard as they can for you but the judge will make the ultimate decision. We did win our case, which was a difficult one but she fought hard and invested herself into it to ensure my stepdaughter was safe with us. Do not hesitate to hire her. You will not go wrong. I can promise you that. Also we want to add that her assistants are amazing as well. If we ever have any more issues with our case, she will be the one we hire.
