This review is from a person who hired this attorney.

Who’s side is she really on?!?!?

In short, I hired Rebecca to help me get custody of my 8 year old daughter who I proved was repeatedly jeopardizing my daughter’s safety and well being. I spent the better part of 2 years defending myself, organizing my case, and proving my innocence against my daughter’s mother, a career criminal, w...ith over a dozen felonies and a compulsive liar. I spent my entire retirement protecting myself and my daughters from her mother with little or no help from my attorney. I was made to be drug tested (passed), when I wasn’t the one in question and repeatedly visited by CPS for false allegations (passed) and was slandered in court making me feel like a criminal. Rebecca’s repeated advice to me was to wait and count on my daughter’s mother to continue to “mess up” which emotionally devastated me and I feared for my daughter’s well-being and safety. In a nutshell, I was not defended, paid for an attorney who fell incredibly short in her fiduciary duties. To this day I am still dealing with multiple types of fraud committed by my daughter’s mother because she never faced any consequences for false allegations about me. This was a harrowing experience that is still continuing today and had my attorney done her job both my daughter and I would feel safe and be protected. Thankfully I have custody of my daughter and she is safe with me but I will never recover from the flippant, unprofessional and lack of concern for my daughter and her safety. Rebecca repeatedly abandoned me and let my daughter’s mother dictate the court proceedings that left me jumping through hoops to prove her guilt and my innocence. I DO NOT recommend Rebecca as an attorney as you will feel as if you are defending yourself while your bank account is drained. BEWARE!!!

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
